After much discussion over whether or not the upcoming Legends Games would be televised, it seems there has at least been a resolution for the Lexington version. From Larry Vaught:
While there’s been no official announcement – that should come tonight – the 7:30 p.m. exhibition game will be shown on WKYT in Lexington, WYMT in Hazard and WBKO in Bowling Green as part of a package produced by Gray Television. Other stations could also be added to the mix when the official word comes out tonight and certainly the game will be shown in the Dominican Republic with either the local feed interpreted in Spanish or possibly having a special crew calling the game in Spanish at Rupp Arena.
Dave Baker and Christi Thomas will provide the commentary for the broadcast, with Rob Bromley on hand to do some sideline reporting and, presumably, to go ‘Dentro del Corrillo.’ The game in Louisville will not be televised, partially because it has not been sold out. Still, this is good news for those people who don’t have tickets to the game in Lexington, as they’ll still get to see some of their favorite players grace the hallowed halls of Rupp Arena one more time.
