As part of the never-ending quest to bring you University of Kentucky news in the most ridiculous manner possible, I comb the Twitter-verse each week for the funniest, oddest, and sometimes, nearly illegible tweets from your favorite players and personalities. Basically, I read Twitter so you don’t have to. Without further ado, here are the best tweets of the week.

Merry Christmas, everyone! A combination of Christmas spirits, delicious treats, and festive tweets have put us in quite the merry little mood. I must know where Josh Hopkins got this shirt for his nephew:

Speaking of…

Morgan Newton thinks your mass Christmas text is sort of silly:

Jorts found time before his NBA debut to wish his followers a happy holiday:

I’ll let the rest of these tweets speak for themselves while I refill my glass.

Make it merry, guys.

Guys (and Tyler), Fan Outfitters has the “MKG-MVP” shirt. I just saw them in the Hamburg store last night. Not sure if they’ve got them on their website, though.

13-UofL fans can throw all the SOS & RPI numbers they want to. but they haven’t played a UNC, @IU or neutral KU type of game. they just haven’t. Vandy (at home, w/out ezeli) is the toughest game they’ve had. LBSU, OU & CoC at home just aren’t the same.

Matter of time until Fan Outfitters gets UK in trouble with these shirts that they know violate NCAA rules. Oh well, Dawahares Part II.

17, not understanding how a MKG for MVP would be an NCAA violation.
