Mark Stoops picked up his 3rd verbal commit of the Class of 2014 this afternoon. Horton joins the Cats as one of the most powerful running backs in the Midwest. Even though the Air Raid is seen as pass-friendly, the Cats will need a big back to get them into the End Zone, rather than settling for Field Goals in the Red Zone. Stoops continues to impress the best of the best in Ohio, with more to come in the future.

Horton is the 3rd Running Back to commit to Stoops and Running Backs Coach Chad Scott, joining JoJo Kemp and Nebraska transfer Braylon Heard.

HUGE!!!! Horton is a beast and will be tearing up the SEC in no time. Between Horton, Heard, and Kemp…..our future at RB is looking strong.

Having multiple studs in skill positions will be better for all of them since defenses won’t be able to just gameplan against 1-2 guys.

13 – Snodgrass and Horton are both 4-stars in the Rivals 250 with great offer lists. Hendrix is also a 5.7 3-star from Ohio that is one of the Top 20 inside linebackers in the country. These guys would be great additions regardless of whether or not OSU offered or not.

To that point, UK has a lot to offer as a football program right now. As a recruit, its hard to pass up the opportunity to play for Mark Stoops and Neil Brown.

Recruiting is all uk fans have. When you are the Sugar Bowl champs and and the National Champions in basketball, you have it all. Our baseball team will likely be playing in the college world series. Suck it cat fans. In your face.

22 – Yet you have still lost to UK in football 4 of the past 6 seasons and in basketball 4 of the past 5 meetings. Kentucky has dominated UL over the past several years and will continue to do so since your boys Charlie and Rick can’t quite matchup with us on the recruiting trail.

21 – You have to get a verbal at some point if you want to get a signed LOI next February. UK will lose out on a couple kids who decommit every year, but they are also sometimes the benefactos of people who previously commtted elsewhere. As long as you don’t have all your chips in one basket, it should all work out in the end.

Louisville fans are so confident about their program that they still have to come to places like the KSR comment section for validation. Hey Louisville fans, next time you get irritated by UK fans referring to you as little brother, just remember, this is why.

Also, Rick has taken 3 teams to the final four and your fat coach has taken one (record book doesn’t lie). We are thae champs!!!!!

    36) Ignorant/clueless, 39) Didn’t even have to read past the first 3 words of your comment to know everything I need to know about you, and it was more than enough to know better than to give anything else you wrote even a shred of credibility. 41) Louisville has lost what, 4 out of the last 6 games vs. UK in football? You might want to gain a little more ground before you start to puff your chest out quite that much.

And as far as basketball goes, enjoy your one year of “dominance” while it lasts, because if you’re truly insecure enough about this rivalry to have to come to Kentucky sites w/ these horribly lame attempts to talk smack, then man, the 2013-14 basketball season is REALLY gonna suck for you. So, get your jabs in while you can, but please, come w/ something a little stronger than what you’ve demonstrated here, cuz, damn, you’re making complete idiots of yourselves.

I live in West Chester and watched Horton transfer from Lakota East to Lakota West as many players do to neon a better football team. With that said I have not been impressed with him at all inside the 10 yard line. Calling him a power back is stretching it to say the least.

I have an idea, why don’t we all just worry about our own team’s and let the results on the field do the talking. Yes, Louisville has had a good run in football and basketball lately. But Cal and Stoops will be doing great things for Kentucky for many years to come. Y’all act like you are still in high school fighting over a girl and trying to make the other guy look bad in front of her.
