Yesterday, Ohio State president Gordon Gee made some pretty offensive remarks regarding Kentucky and the SEC (I’d tell you about them, but I apparently can’t read). SEC Commissioner Mike Slive went before reporters yesterday and said that Gee called him about a week ago warning him about the disrespectful comments and apologized in advance. Big 10 commissioner Jim Delany also called him to apologize and make it clear that his conference has the utmost respect for the SEC.
It’s okay, Gordon. Those comments will live on in every SEC/Big 10 throwdown for years to come.
