Michael Kidd-Gilchrist at tonight’s game

Tonight’s game just got a lot more exciting. MICHAEL KIDD-GILCHRIST is in the house to see the Cats take on Eastern Michigan. Maybe this will inspire a MKG-esque performance from Alex Poythress?

Maybe MKG can loan his heart to Poythress for this game.

  5. Lions That Don't Roar

So I wonder if the child in Poythress has realized that Lions That Don’t Need To Roar only works if everyone is convinced that your a Lion (by action).

If you don’t roar then the only way you get respect is through action…

    Are we missing something here???

Where’s the action? We’ve seen a hesitant, shelled, turtle who only comes out to play when his ego gets out of the way.

Please, don’t even talk about Lions and Roars. You know nothing about them son.

    Where’s the Lion?

    Hear no lion.
    See no lion.
    Speak no lion.

I think people need to back off Poythress a bit. Kids clearly got talent, Cal is working at bringing it out, fans need to cut him some slack.

Yea, lay off. Kentucky Basketball isn’t an honor or a privilege that thousands dream of every year.

It’s a gravy train to the NBA. Back off and let me get some gravy in peace.

Kentucky Basketball is great because everyone can slack off when ever they want.

That’s how they won 8 titles.

He looks stoned. But hey, he’s not in college anymore.

I didn’t say people couldn’t have an issue with his play…but good grief people…he’s a kid and he’s had some good games and plays.

He clearly needs to improve, but I was taught to ENCOURAGE our team, not harp on them.

He’s clearly become the whipping boy of fans who think we are going to win every game and never have a season where we aren’t #1.

I’ve never seen anything out of him that seems like he doesn’t know its a privilege and clearly he’s better than you or you’d be on the team instead of griping about him on a message board.
