I started this game WANTING OSU to win. But the refs gave that game to OSU. Iowa State was fighting OSU +3. And Greg Anthony AND Sir Charles agree.
Also, Kristen, this is not a buzzer beater b/c they were tied. A true Buzzer Beater is when a team is down and will lose if they don’t make the shot.
How can you not guard the ball handler and let him dribble into a straight on shot?

I live in Cincinnati. Everyone in Ohio hates UK, especially OSU fans. They talk trash about UK all the time. I hate to see them win. They need to lose but I fear they have other trip to the Final Four coming. Makes me sick!

I’ll give ISU the block call if the refs take back all the touch fouls on Ohio State. That one call did not decide the game and Ohio State won in SPITE of the refs, not because of them.
Also, who cares what the hell Charles Barkely has to say? He just wants all the Big Ten teams to lose so he doesn’t look like an idiot for calling the conference overrated.

Goti Barkley is the only talking head that doesn’t kiss everyone’s ass and tells it how it is. The only people who don’t like him are those that can’t handle the truth.
@stan, Barkley will still call the Big Ten overrated when they advance AT LEAST four teams to the Sweet Sixteen. Hard to be overrated when you advance more teams than any other conference.
They need to look at this whole block charge thing. The refs are not looking at the play and mainly looking at the feet. The NCAA copied a good nba rule but suck at calling it. The circle rule for one is to allow dunks and layups without getting the driver hurt. In college all you have to do is get in front of someone and its a charge and they get it wrong most of the time when you look at the replay. Craft put his feet in front of Clyburn and never established a defensive stance and was about a 30 degree angle. I would like to see strict block/charge call with 2 feet set in front, allow players to land, and the defense player square-not undercutting or sliding in. This would protect the driver and also improve the game.
If not, consider a going to the monitor part of the rule.
I hate Ohio State and Aaron Craft.
Only difference was Craft fouled McKnight 3 times before he finally got the separation and drained it over Craft. Craft couldn’t play at UK cause he’d only play 4 minutes a game. He’d have two fouls and sitting on the bench after he went up the floor twice to play defense. He has about 12 or more fouls a half.
Craft got the benefit of the doubt because of his reputation as a great defender. It’s sad, but refs reward players with calls all the time especially in the NBA.That is what really takes away from NBA for me, hell Lebron went a month without fouling. Is that possible?

Bullshit charging call that eliminated a possible 3 point lead by ISU. Should never have come to the last second shot. Some official got the best BJ of his life after the game. Even Sir Charles was pissed about it.

I think the big 10 is overrated not in the sense thatthey’re not the best conference THIS season, because they are, but they get way too much hype. The top 4 are good, and the next 3 are above average. Wisconsin for example was a team better in the big 10 then out of it. They haven’t played many tough teams in the tournament, and it was nice of the committee to put Michigan, Michigan st and Ohio state at home. College basketball in general is down this season. This could be the year they finally win a championship. 1 since 1990. They’re due.
TERRIBLE charge call against Iowa State. I’m sick of seeing kids jumping in front of the offensive player at the last minute and getting this call. Thank God for Charles Barkley for calling out the awful officiating. Total game changer.

Sad to see the refs end a teams season like in this game. I can care less about the feet, he was still sliding over after the off player left his feet so in 2 terms of the rule it was a block yet the ref does not see either. SAD. They review all this stupid crap why not let them review, the so called, toughest call in bball. Oh well, tourney sucks, college bball as a whole sucks. There has been alot of bad bball played. The suckeyes can make final 4 beating a 6 seed as their best win. Lets see they beat a 15, were given the win vs a 10, play a 6 then a 9,12,13 if they win to make Final 4. Basketball sucks.

Craft is the hero. But what about the two free throws he missed on the front of two one-and-one’s and the layups he missed to blow a 13 point lead just before this shot? It’s just like Henderson at Ole Miss. Somehow he’s a hero… after going 6 for 32 in most games.
