Meet T.J. Warren

Brewster Academy small forward T.J. Warren entered an exclusive club this afternoon as received an offer from Kentucky’s staff, along with teammate Mitch McGary. Both players are Louisville targets, which is an added bonus, and Warren also holds offers from Florida, Georgetown, Kansas and NC State. The 6’7″ 200 pounder rates as a four-star prospect by Rivals, Scout and ESPN and the Worldwide leader likes his savvy, craftiness with the ball and sneak athleticism. I like that he used to attend Word of God in North Carolina. That seems like a productive pipeline.

Enjoy his skills.

I cant even put in to words how good Cal is with recruiting. My gosh, if he stays these next 8 years, 3 titles may be a conservative prediction of what he’ll do here.

I thought this offer may be to get his teammate. However, he has some nice schools looking at him. Are they just looking to handcuff or is this a solid 4 year guy?

Get that freakin USC football ad down!!!

  6. Cal’s got to fill some 3 and 4 year player spots, but with quality. No need for project players (aka Tubby Smith) if we can get kids with motors and a foundation of skills already.

I’m waiting for the next international player to emerge (the rise of the Enes).

Howie Lindsey’s big fat ass is all over this story about WWW and has published Gary Parrish’s article all over at the dirty bird site… There calling immediately for Cals dismissal and the NCAA to hand down the death penalty against UK.. What a bunch of line beard clowns

#7 there are absolutely zero grounds for that action. Were they as vehement with their P.C. skills when Richard was in violation of the morals clause in his contract? One is a direct disregard for rules, the other is merely wishful thinking…

He might be a 3/4 year guy, but he might be on Cal’s wish list mainly because of his shooting. He doesn’t look to be quite the athlete that similar sized guys like Devonta Pollard, Anthony Bennett, Alex Poythress, and Perry Ellis are, but he’s the best 3 point shooter in the group. And with UK losing Miller, and ver possibly Lamb, that could become a high priority for Cal.

WOW- cal must want mcGary really bad. It cant hurt to have a 4* and i would not disagree with it either way but this has got to show ya that cal is giving this kid no excuses not to come here. Bold statement by cal and not been done before here to my knowledge. This really means McGary earned two scholarships. just sayin

Nothing wrong with T.J. but McGary is the man. He’ll be an impact player the first time he steps on the floor in college.

Nothing wrong with giving this guy an offer. We might sign anywhere form 6 to 8 guys anyway.

Not saying he is as good. But, his release and game remind me of Antoine Walker.
