Meet Jackson Davis

According to the Courier-Journal’s Jody Demling, Kentucky had themselves a little visitor yesterday.  Or, technically, a tall visitor.  Local basketball star Jackson Davis, a 6”8″ small forward and son of Johnathon Davis, took an unofficial visit to check out the University of Kentucky.  The Lafayette star, ranked by ESPN as a four-star prospect and the 43rd-best player in the class of 2014, is also getting looks already from Indiana, Louisville and Purdue.

I would guess that if UK wants him they’ll get him, his dad played at UK, he’s grown up a UK fan and he lives in Lexington.

By the time this kid is done growing, he will be close to 7’0″ and will have the skills of a guard, will remind you of a kid that we have this year with the last name of Davis…

I agree with 3, I know the kid is blessed with size for his age but it looks like he is playing against grade schoolers and the school of the athletically handicapped. Hope he develops to be able to play like that against other talented players.

i think it’s awesome that his pop’s is from FL but chose to live in lex…..2014 is young but im all for scooping up ky boys if they have the talent. he’s thin but his frame looks good and he’ll put on weight in 3-4 years. hopefully coach builds a relationship with him….hell it’d be awesome if he could play pick up with our guys next year or the year after

After the way Ricky P. treated his dad, I can’t imagine him going to the Ville.

it dont matter how tiny and young the kids are that you are playing. You take it to the hole and you dunk it down!

Uh….. Can’t remember the last time I saw Dakota Euton bring it up on a break, do step-throughs and jam it every time down the floor.
