All Saints’ Day (in the Roman Catholic Church officially the Solemnity of All Saints and also called All Hallows or Hallowmas[3]), often shortened to All Saints, is a solemnity celebrated on 1 November by parts of Western Christianity, and on the first Sunday after Pentecost in Eastern Christianity, in honour of all the saints, known and unknown. In the Western calendar it is the day after Halloween and the day before All Souls’ Day.

In Western Christian theology, the day commemorates all those who have attained the beatific vision in Heaven. It is a national holiday in many historically Catholic countries. In the Catholic Church and many Anglican churches, the next day specifically commemorates the departed faithful who have not yet been purified and reached heaven. Christians who celebrate All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day do so in the fundamental belief that there is a prayerful spiritual bond between those in purgatory (the ‘Church Suffering’), those in heaven (the ‘Church triumphant’), and the living (the ‘Church militant’). Other Christian traditions define, remember and respond to the saints in different ways; for example, in the Methodist Church, the word “saints” refers to all Christians and therefore, on All Saints’ Day, the Church Universal, as well as the deceased members of a local congregation, are honoured and remembered.[2][4]

Matt–My dad ran WKYT and started WYMT before his death in 1996. When I was growing up, my family and I used to go to Cawood Ledford’s house a couple of weeks before Christmas where we would eat beef tenderloin, country ham and angel biscuits and then got to pick an ornament off their tree. Then we would go to supper with the Ledfords. It was always a pleasure to be with the Ledford’s. A true legend. Good luck tonight in your new adventure.

Mitch said more then that Matt. This is what he said….“Football is not where we want it to be just yet and we’ve got to work on that,” Barnhart told the crowd. “We made some progress and climbed up the hill a little bit and were doing some good things in a really tough league but we’ve found that we’ve stubbed our toes a little bit. We’ve got to figure that out and we’ll get that figured out.”

Doesnt sound like a clip to me that he thinks this football program is going downhill.

The guy has paid his dues as an assistant for a long time and has played an instrumental role in the development of possibly the most exciting program to watch in college football history. 144- I agree we need defense. But if you look at it, only a handful of teams have a good defense anyways. We need someone who can run a spread, air raid, etc. We don’t need a pro style offense and base defense. We need an offensive scheme that can overcome the recruiting defencies that we have.
