Matt and KSR got a shoutout from Bill Simmons

Bill Simmons is the inspiration that sparked that bright little idea of KSR in Matt’s mind many years ago, so you can imagine what it meant to Matt when Simmons mentioned KSR on the BS Report yesterday.  Simmons was talking about DeMarcus Cousins when he said “…even when you read the Kentucky Sports Radio site, Matt Jones’ site, Kentucky, yeah, I think it’s Kentucky Sports Radio.”

Yes, Bill, it is Kentucky Sports Radio.  And thanks for the shoutout.

… yeah. Awesome. I’m happy for KSR… do you have a link to the full interview? because I’d be interested in what he had to say about Boogie.

    Stay on topic, people.

Cousins is the real deal and the Kings are a total mess. Getting them up to Seattle will cure a lot of ills with that organization- and with Boogie. Simmons is correct that UK fans loved him. Cousins was a tremendous player his year at UK and very good kid off the court. If he’s given a similar culture in The Association he’ll be a dominant force for years to come.
