Jacques Marquette (seen above in a flowing robe) explored the Great Lakes region in the mid 1600s and was one of the great early pioneers on American soil. But when he saw Mark Coury’s ancestors coming (as the picture shows), he pointed in horror, and went to the Native Americans asking for help. Now, almost 375 years later, his descendants at Marquette University are trembling in fear from the Coury Flurry and trying not to freak out before today’s game with the Wildcats. All that can be said about this game has been said. We all know the Cats have a legitimate chance to win and face a matchup that is potentially favorable. I see the Cats playing a hard-nosed game, that is tight throughout and using their Senior leadership to pull out a win, 65-61. Regardless of the outcome, enjoy today’s game….it will either be the last or one of the last for two guys who have given a lot to the program over the years.
