We’re only 106 days away from Kentucky football’s opener against Western Kentucky in Nashville, but if the game were played right now, Mark Stoops says the Cats are nowhere near ready:
“There’s a lot of work to be done between now and then. We’re not ready. Western would whoop us right now,” Stoops told Larry Vaught earlier today. However, Stoops vows to have his team ready to play Bobby Petrino’s boys on August 31st:
“We’re not there yet, but we plan on being there. We’ve got a lot of work to do between now and then and our players are embracing that process. They’re enjoying it. They’re looking forward to getting involved in the summer program. They’re excited about that. And then we’ll be in the fall. We’ll be ready.“
Will the BBN be ready? Plenty of tickets are still available on Ticketmaster.
