Mark Stoops: “Offense and defense will be well defined”
It didn’t take long for Mark Stoops to sit down for his first of many interviews. WKYT sat down with Stoops as he answered a few questions before his press conference about his plans for Kentucky football. Stoops says that his team will be “well defined offensively and defensively.” He will stress consistency in all areas. Stoops also said that he expects to have a “creative” offense. His goal is to find a coordinator who can help him achieve this vision and is best suited for that plan.
If the early crowd is any indication of the growing excitement surrounding UK football, I’d say Stoops already has this thing moving in the right direction. Here’s the crowd at Nutter 30 minutes before Stoops’ arrival:

One of the biggest problems with our former offense was how well defined it was. Everyone knew definitely what our next play would be every time – 3 yard pass or QB draw.
