Mark Stoops, Ms. Kentucky and four other guys want a 2016 positional chart

stoopsmsky

Please note the use of the term “positional” chart instead of depth chart. We don’t even know the 2013 depth chart yet, so it would be kind of ridiculous to try to guess what it’ll be in 2016 when this year’s incoming freshman are juniors and seniors (depending on whether they redshirt or not). But as you can see below, the future roster is getting closer to looking like a complete football team. Please note that I did not include junior college transfers, since their eligibility should be expired by 2016. Also, I tried to base the hierarchy on ratings, but some of the ratings were so close together that it was a toss up. I bumped up one player ahead of another, simply because he was from Texas. I tried to give some 2013 players the benefit of the doubt over some 2014 guys with similar talent. Again, this is just for fun and not a real depth chart, but it does give us a picture of how things are shaping up. We’ll let the coaching staff decide the real depth chart in more than three years from now.

What stands out to me is the SEC-caliber depth starting to develop at Safety, WR and RB positions. What stands out to you?

“We don’t even know the 2013 depth chart yet, so it would be kind of ridiculous to try to guess what it’ll be in 2016 when this year’s incoming freshman are juniors and seniors…” Seeing as how this website brings us news in the most ridiculous manner possible…I’d say let’s go ahead and call this a depth chart

What I love: Talent at offensive skill positions (QB, RB, WR) and defensive backs (our DBs have a lot of speed). Love our defensive line if we get Matt Elam.

Where we need to improve: Offensive line and linebacker.

Also, isn’t Denzel Ware moving to Outside Linebacker?

Pullium is a JUCO and will not be here in 16 unless he redshirts.

#4 – Yes, Ware is likely moving to OLB while if Walker keeps growing he’ll be a DE (reportedly up to 6’4 210)

Kentucky fans are such ignorant douchelords. That’s Jenna Day, I knew her when she was at UK. Miss Kentucky isn’t based on just looks, you vapid and shallow children.

I feel so sorry for Coach Stoops and Calipari having to hang out with program humps like the ones in this photo. I’d be rotten at “fan interaction” if I was a coach. They look like they belong in a strip club on a weekday afternoon.

Wow, we’re going to play without a center! This offense is going to be REALLY different!

You could also add in the current redshirt freshman like Myers, Toth (there are your centers), Gaffree, Chapman, Watson, Harris, and L. Newton. Regardless though… it shows that we are off to a great start. Especially when you consider we still have the entire ’15 and ’16 classes (and the rest of ’14 class) to add depth and competition.

Reggie Meant at tackle??? Guess you didn’t see the pic Stoops took with his future D Line with Mr Meant standing in the middle.

What stands out most to me: the fact we are apparently not playing with a center on offense in 2016. In all seriousness, we need to add two more OL this year / 2014 (takes longer to bulk them up) and 4-5 LBs next year (2015 class).

    Eric,
Just so you know the program humps and the coach are at a charity event supporting the UK Children’s Hospital. Probably more that you would do you Self Centered A$$ hat. Go to a strip club on a weekday to see what the customers really dress like. My guess though is that naked women do not interest you.

    RC,
Learn a little more about cigars. That is not a tiparillo. My guess is that you like smoking something but it isn’t a cigar! Probably crack and tubesteak.

Eric, what I see in this picture with Coach Stoops are four men who have been season football ticket holders for over 30 years each. These men and two others that were at this charity event on Saturday have spent more on tickets, parking and K Fund donations this year than you will probably make at the Kroger this year, you hump. Go stock those shelves now.

There is no center listed because we don’t have one committed yet who is listed at the position.
