Marion H.S. Girls’ Basketball star switches from Cards to Cats

Kyvin Goodin-Rogers, daughter of former Louisville basketball star Tick Rogers, has switched her commitment from UofL to Kentucky. The Marion High School star decommitted from the Cards early in the summer and then committed to Matthew Mitchell and the Cats today.

Goodin-Rogers is ESPN.com’s No. 72 overall player in the class of 2013.

#9 -Thanks for that tidbit about Epps. I had to see if the C-J had something on that, and sure enough, they include it in the announcement of Rogers to UK here – http://blogs.courier-journal.com/recruiting/2012/08/21/marion-co-s-goodin-rogers-commits-to-uk-women/

    Go get ’em, Mitch!!!

Epps was still waiting for UK to offer. Still wants to play with KGR in college.

Good news! Heard thru the grapevine that it was a package deal-Epps, KGR and the coach to UL. Sounds like that may have been negated! GOOD!

Fact of the matter is that both kids were Kentucky locks before then coach Kyra Elzy screwed the whole deal up( also dont believe a word about her being the reason Kentucky got all the All Americans, Matt Insell deserves a huge raise). As a matter of fact as soon as that orange sucking traitor left to go back to the Vols, what happened? The coach getting a job at UL had nothing to do with either going to UL and turned that job down. Fact is Epps along with her family, including Anthony Epps, will visit UK Monday on a un-official visit…will be a glorious day in BBN land. Lets just say the folks in Lexington will be having a party Monday night reaping the spoils taken from the filthy birds…….

There is a chance that the womens and men’s team could someday be in the Final Four at the same time. Keep up the great work coach Mitchell.

LOL….I love it. Maybe if Coach at Louisville would worry about coaching/recruiting instead of chasing 23-24 year olds, he may have worked harder to keep Goodin/Epps. I think I went on Cardinal Authority and told them CURDS that this was happening over summer. All they did was get mad and ban me but InTheKnow 247 is back and the Cardinal Authority can’t ban or touch this post.
