Lunardi says if the Cats win on Friday, they’re in

LunardiGotThemSweatz

The Herald-Leader’s Jerry Tipton interviewed Joe Lunardi, who says that if the Cats win on Friday night, he’s “convinced they’re in.” If not, Lunardi says it could still go either way. Lunardi currently has the Cats in his last four in, along with La Salle, Boise State, and Virginia, but emphasizes that they are not a lock.

Kentucky plays the winner of Arkansas/Vandy Friday night at 6:30 p.m. CT.

If we can’t beat Arkansas or Vandy on a “neutral” court in Nashville then we really don’t deserve the NCAA bid anyway.

Suggestion to Tyler: find a pic of Joe Lunardi where he’s in a suit. When he has something good to say about UK in the NCAA tournament (like this post), use that pic. If he has something to say where UK is out of the tournament or lost a seed or two, use the above pic where he’s lounging.

Can someone please look at Boise St’s record and who they’ve beaten/lost to and tell me why they are in?

So we’re all in agreement – we want a septuple overtime game between Vandy and Arkansas Thursday night. Also, if some people on both teams get tossed for fighting and get suspended for our game, I’m also okay with that.

I think we need to reach the championship game(win or lose) to be assured a spot in the big dance. The rapper from earlier said it best, noone likes UK (especially the NCAA). GBB!!!

You mean Joe Bicardi- Changes his predictions based on how much 151 rum he drinks.

    9. I was wondering the same thing. They’ve only beaten Creighton, have 9 losses on the season, and are 5th in the MWC. I have no idea why they’re considered to be in right now.

14, I’m pretty sure he changes his predictions based on the outcomes of subsequent games.

Who is LaSalle and what have they done? VCU and Butler are their most impressive wins? Good teams, but they aren’t terribly impressive wins. I’d put Tennessee over them due to beating Florida and Mizzou.

When you have an entire tournament of Cinderellas playing each other, it ceases to be an impressive run.

Why does KSR give this hack so much attention? There are other web sites and people with MUCH better track records at predicting who gets in than this guy.
