Lowery Head and Brain Injuries Deemed Not Significant

According to Ashely Lowery’s family spokesperson, Doug Stutsman, test results have shown that the junior safety’s injuries show no significant head or brain damage. Stutsman told the Courier-Journal: “The extent of his neck injury is still unknown, but he has no significant head or brain damage.”

Lowery is currently in stable condition in the intensive-care unit. His reported injuries include the neck injury, injuries to his left wrist and left hip, and a gash in his right leg.

While his injuries are still very serious, there seems to be room for cautious optimism concerning Lowery’s recovery. The lack of brain injuries is especially lucky. We wish Ashely the best.

    3) Wow!! How can you even think that let alone post about it? #3 you say a troll I dont think a guy like this could be a fan of anybody. I am a Card fan through and through but that takes a back seat to all these kids health and devel. This is a sad commentary on our society not a fan base.

#3 and #4 Earlier in the day yesterday, Kristin Geil Made a tacky joke/play on words about Ashley saying “the safety wasn’t being safe” because he wasn’t wearing his seatbelt. I guess Matt Jones made her take it down because it is now gone but you can read the outrage that was expressed in the comments section. She made the tacky joke, not I.
