Louisville Boys Look To Play Long Into The Summer

And he had huge… tracts o’ land!

Since we seem to have turned into Karen Sypher Radio today, I figured I should pass this news bit along.  The Ricky Three Stacks trial has been postponed. It was originally scheduled for June 1st, but the proceedings will now begin on July 26nd per the Louisville Courier Journal.

The extension was requested by Syphers lawyer, citing a need for more time to read the “hundreds of pages of documents,” listen to the “many hours of tape recordings turned over by the government,” and because he “couldn’t get his email to work,” joining millions of students as they come up with terrible excuses for having spent the entire past month drunk at Keeneland.  It’s okay, lawyer man, we all have bad semesters.

In a related note, Louisville native Rajon Rondo continues to be the best player for the Celtics, if not the best player in the Celts/Cavs series (so far.)  Continuing his trend to up his game in the post season, the former Cat is averaging 16 and 12 in the playoffs, including 19 assists in last nights demolition of the Cleveland Cavaliers featuring future New York Knick Lebron James.  Rondo’s 19 tied the Celtic post season record, putting his name next to Hall of Famer Bob Cousy.

With the trial only getting longer, and Rondo’s performance on the court only getting better, I’d imagine any moment now Ricky P will be texting the Celtic asking him to drop a few dimes his way.

And for that joke, I am sorry.

Go Cats.
