There was a bad football game that was played in the cold rain today, but the real action was in Section 206. The movement that was started by the lone Patrick, was the most fun you could have at a game while losing by 30+. The most exciting moment of the game came when offsetting penalties let the Cats re-do 4th down in the red zone. It was ugly, but the few fans that came wouldn’t let a terrible performance get in the way of having a good time. Joker’s explanation will be coming soon from Rashawn. Stay classy Big Blue Nation.

27-0 at the half but we held it to 13-0 in the 2nd half. Folks, we are making progress. The tide is turning and there is a glimmer of hope. I think our AD just saw enough improvement in the 2nd half to keep Joker around for a 4th year.

I know it won’t happen because Mitch is friends with Joker and doesn’t fire people before the end of the season, and maybe my suggestion wouldn’t do it anyway out of loyalty to Joker but…
Talk to Joker tomorrow, fire him Monday, and announce Brooks as the interim coach (if he’ll do it) for the last 3 weeks. Maybe he comes back out of loyalty to our seniors he once coached to get them the cupcake win and to get a shot at beating Tennessee (which Brooks never managed).
At the same time, we announce we’re going to interview candidates, and we pledge to increase financial support for the program.
We’ll get a better crowd at Commonwealth, the guys have something to play for in our last 2 games with a coach familiar with some of them and the fans, and we start the search for next year’s coach.
If I have to listen to one more announcing team talk about Joker being only 3 years in and having injuries and a young QB, while failing to mention he was coach in waiting, one-time OC, and head recruiter for a program that went to bowl gameS, I’m gonna be sick.
