Or that he has ruled out Kentucky and the other 3 coaches want to jump on it as the chance has presented itself?

Totally agree with your baseball theory as a baseball mom for over ten years (both boys played baseball from age 5 to 16), Only pitcher and catcher are doing something constantly and everyone else is watching most of the game (parents are watching from the stand, most players are watching from the dugout) 🙁

Cal either knows he has Wiggins in the bag or knows he’s going somewhere else. I’d love UK to get him, but either way we’ll have a great team. And Cal isn’t doing any last second groveling like all the other guys. He’s got game like he read the directions.
Memphis committ Kuran iverson was interviewed and literally said that he wanted to go to uk and play for coach cal but it didn’t work out. AND LITTERALLY SAID HE WENT TO MEMPHIS BECAUSE THAT’S WHERE CAL USED TO COACH AND HAVE SUCCESS! Lol. I’ll post the link to the video later. Here’s an interesting note. Outside of UK, the SEC still has the most Top 20 recruits for next year. UF (2), LSU, and Ark all getting a Top 20 player. More than any other conference total for the Top 20. LSU, as far as LSU goes, actually has a pretty solid class.

That is an average height of 79.6 inches (6 feet 7.6 inches)
The average height of the starting lineups for the top five NBA teams (by record) this season:
Heat = 78.6 inches
Thunder = 80.0 inches
Spurs = 79.4 inches
Nuggets = 79.0 inches
Clippers = 78.6 inches
So essentially UK may play a taller starting lineup next season than four of the five best NBA teams.
Now please don’t try to construe this as me implying that next year’s UK team would be able to compete with the best teams in the NBA (or any NBA teams, for that matter). That is not what I am saying. I am merely trying to illustrate the deadly combination of length and talent that UK opponents will have to face next year.

I love Nerlens. Love him. He’s a better man than me. I consider myself a great kid, but I can honestly say, that if I had the talent that Nerlens has, I would not have given as much back to the community as he has. Not even close. What a guy, I can’t wait to see his dreams come true.
Nice interview, Nerlens is all about team effort and making himself and others better. Wish you could stay around Lexington, but maybe you’ll come back from time to time.

A comment I gleaned from the story on ESPN on Nerlens going pro. From a UK fan to a belligerent U of L fan, ‘U of L is an older university than UK. We have the most all time wins in college basketball. What’s U of L’s claim to fame? Not the best in ANYTHING! A 2 star rated medical school. UK? A 3 star rated medical school. You might as well hate because hating is the only game you’ve got! And you guys are definitely the champs of that!’ Oh! Yeah! 🙂
