The Drew Barker Announcement LIVE DIARY
2:58 p.m. — What’s up, KSR readers? In an attempt to give KSR readers the most in-depth coverage of Drew Barker’s announcement, we sent Drew Franklin and Nick Roush up to Hebron, Kentucky, only for them to be told they can’t use the school’s wi-fi. So, you’re stuck with me and this awesome WKYT live stream. Drew and Nick will be texting me updates periodically, but until then, let’s spend the next thirty minutes speculating. Be sure to refresh often.
2:59 p.m. — Drew texts that he and Nick sat in the car for 20 minutes while school let out and felt really creepy. Also, he wants some rectangular pizza and corn.

3:13 p.m. — Five minutes later, they still haven’t responded to my dare. Wimps.

3:20 p.m. — The fact that Cutler decided to stand right in front of the camera to check his phone is not a coincidence.

3:26 p.m. — Barker’s dad speaking, wearing a maroon-checked shirt. Drew looks like he’s about to throw up. I would be too if I was about to announce I was going to South Carolina in front of a crowd of UK fans.

We just have a HEISMAN Trophy Caniadate on our team at UofL. Now as for Alabama and Florida and every team in the SEC you churn out more NFL players out of that Conference than any other Conference in the USA!!! Be proud that UK is in it, because with Stoops as your coach you are will finally go somewhere!!
156. Classic oversimplification. Joker was a bad coach and deserved to be fired, but that phone call is not on him it’s on the person who took the call. It’s the same hater tactics people use blaming coach Cal for Derrick Rose and Marcus Camby.
Joker was a very good player here, a UK grad, assistant for some of the best teams I’ve seen at UK, and he recruited and coached some legendary talent here. I’m won’t let Matt Jones and other haters trashing the an erase all of that. He was fired, he took it like a man and now has another job, let him be.
159 – I don’t know where you got that the NCAA apologized for going after Hurt. They still presented him with a notice of allegations even though their employees had made mistakes. Hurt still is accused of wrong-doing which he has to defend. His response is due by the end of this month and with all the physical evidence the NCAA has on him he is likely not getting off. UL had to suspend him until the NCAA hands down their verdict which very well could include a show cause order. Google ncaa apologizes to clint hurt and you will come up with nothing.
Ksr should probably invest in one of those usb internet things. Every cell phone company has them and they aren’t that expensive to add to a plan. This isn’t the first you all have had problems getting intern

#160 I won’t deny some of the success he and Sanders had but it quickly went down hill when he became HC. He was one of my favorite players growing up, that 84 team was great.
