Listen to Tim Couch on Kentucky Sports Radio

TC

Tim Couch joined Ryan Lemond in studio this morning for two hours of non-stop football talk, and it was awesome. If you missed out, listen in to hear Tim tell stories from his career (like when his dad walked out of the room when Phil Fulmer came to visit), what it was like to help Mitch Barnhart find Mark Stoops, and what he thinks about the future of the program. Also, what’s that about drunk dialing Kenny Chesney?!

It’s a shame UK didn’t take advantage of the momentum Couch brought to UK. He could have went to any school in the country and instead chose UK and Curry!

Couch is a prime example how being drafted high can kill a career before it even gets started. He didn’t stand a chance in Cleveland injured his shoulder and that was that. If he could have went to a good team he would still be in the NFL, by the time he made it to green bay his shoulder was shot. It’s a shame because he could play.

    WHY?

Why? Because being drafted high means going to a bad team and in Couchs situation a team with 0 line. As to players like Russell Wilson who aren’t asked to do to much and have a good team around them.
