Listen to Me! Best of KSR College

It wouldn’t be Notre Dame game day without obnoxious references to Digger Phelps, would it? Here’s what’s been going on over at KSR College this week:

-It’s game day. Here’s what you need to know about Fightin’ the Irish.

-Conference realignment makes my head spin more than a few too many John Wall shots. Luckily, David Mulloy has broken it down into what I have re-named “Conference Realignment for Dummies.”

-Now that we’re safely past Thanksgiving, the holiday season is in full swing. Adam Schilt is already in the Christmas spirit and gives pointers on how to have A Blue Christmas.

-We’re still high on Stoops’ hire, and Andrew Cassady wrote an overview of Stoops’ big wins at Florida State.  Can he translate some of those into SEC wins?

Thanks Teddy. Good luck to you guys too. I think tonight will tell us both alot about where our teams are. If we can come in there and beat an experience team on their home court, we will be ahead of where I thought they would be at this time of the year.

Aren’t we getting a little ahead of ourselves looking at Stoops’ big wins? I’m pretty sure he was the DC, not the head coach at FSU. He may well be a good coach but don’t you think it’s a little premature to act like this was a home run. I do know one thing for sure. A lot of the fan base wanted a different coach, Stoops has a good enough rep for every one to support him and give him a chance. But if he doesn’t win and Petrino goes somewhere else and wins this could blow up in Mitch’s face in a huge way. So let’s call this what it is a solid hire with a chance at being a home run or a bust only time will tell.
