Listen to Josh Harrellson on Kentucky Sports Radio

KSR’s favorite denim warrior Josh Harrellson came on the radio show this morning to catch up with the guys and take calls from fans. Despite kicking ass and taking names in China, Jorts says he’s still looking to land a spot in the league at home. Tomorrow, he will work out for the Detroit Pistons, and he says the Sacramento Kings and Los Angeles Lakers have also shown interest.

Jorts also gave us some new details in the infamous bathroom stall story, in which Billy Gillispie forced Josh to sit in a bathroom stall during halftime of the Vandy game in Nashville. Jorts told us that Gillispie wasn’t going to let the team come out if he had refused to go sit in the stall, and he finally agreed to when his teammates asked him to so they could finish the game. Yes, the man was that crazy.

Jorts’ interview starts at the beginning of hour two, but don’t miss some great stories from Matt, Ryan, and Drew’s Alaska trip in hour one. It’ll give the phrase “blue moon of Kentucky, keep on shining” a totally different meaning.

Team should have a player’s back even if the coach doesn’t. Who would it reflect upon if the team didn’t come out in the 2nd half? Gillispie was wrong, so was the rest of the team that threw Josh under the bus.

1- they didnt “throw him under the bus” they just wanted to play the rest of the game, no doubt this is all on Billy G but the players just wanted to finish he probably would have thrown them all in stalls
