Hey, do you guys think that Matt thinks Wiggins is the best high school player since Lebron? I don’t think he says that enough. Matt needs some bew phrases. Repeats the same things over and over. That’s exactly right.

I did install Silverlight and rebooted but it keeps telling me I need to install Silverlight. So 1, yes, it’s not working for me. Anyone have any ideas about what I could try?

WTF KSR…Take the embedded video off the first page. What the hell were you thinking Ally? So now every time someone visits KSR they will auto-load the stream and crash it. Take it off the front page!!!!!!!

I’m also only getting the ads. Clicking play only causes the ads to repeat with no video following afterwards. Apparently the stream is down.

5. If you’re on a Mac, trying using Safari instead of Firefox. I kept getting the error saying I needed to install Silverlight when using Firefox. However, other than ads, I’ve seen nothing on Safari.

The stream is officially dead because Ally decided it would be a great idea if every time someone visited KSR the video would auto-play. I have no clue how many hits KSR gets in a day but you would have to think that she would realize that thousands of people visiting the site would crash a small-time high school stream. Give me a break.
18.) She should have set it up to where the video would only display if you clicked “read more” or “continue” and have it load on a secondary page. That way not everyone would auto-load the video as soon as they go to the main page.

22.) No, obviously you don’t understand. If the video is embedded on the front page of the site any time someone visits the site it will automatically start playing, even if the person that visited the site didn’t want to watch the stream. This creates thousands of people starting the stream and killing the throughput of whatever janky sever they have hosting the video. If she had set it up as a normal post (kinda like the Aukward UK photos posts, or tweetbeat posts) where there is some information about the stream and then a “continue” or “read more” link that would send you to the page that only shows that particular blog entry there wouldn’t have been thousands of random people starting the video.
I did it and PsychOfMSE needs to calm down.
Looks like its still dead even after it was taken down. I just refreshed my video feed and there is nothing.

Generally when a server gets DDOS’d (which is basically what happened) it needs to be rebooted and the stream re-started. I doubt this will happen. So if you get cwkyt the game will be re-broadcast tonight at 8pm on tape delay. If you don’t get cwkyt I am streaming the game on my justin.tv page.

Scott County is merely hosting the game, not playing in it.
Wiggins can leap out of the gym. His ball handling skills are good. His outside shot needs some work. There were 3 or 4 better shooters on the floor. The other team had really big good D1 prep players players that could guard him. They would not allow him to run out or drive the lane. He only made 6 of 18 shots from the floor. He had 1 dunk on a rebound. He is a really good high school player. He is no more than 6 foot 6. He is about like Archie Goodwin in his style. Hope this helps.. I think he was a little nervous and was wanting to please Cal and the fans..
