As we get closer to tournament time, the question remains, what will be Kentucky’s lineup going forward? At this point in the season, most teams, including the best teams of the Tubby Smith’s era, have narrowed the amount of players that see floor time to something like eight people. However this team’s lineup keeps expanding….just when it looked like Shagari and Rekalin Sims would no longer be a part of the rotation, they have both played minutes in the last two games. the injury to Ramel Bradley has forced Brandon Stockton into duty and now with Bradley back, both likely expect to play.
That means that 12 people now could see quality minutes for the Cats, but none really know whether they will. The ongoing search for a consistent rotation by Tubby has yet to come to fruition (or as Rob likes to call it, fruitition) and we are left with a gobbledy-gook that leaves players and coaches unsure of their roles. It truly is a mess….but maybe it will get better….but likely not.
