Lindley gets one step closer to total domination

Wildcat corner Trevard Lindley, who seemingly could have pulled in around 25 interceptions against Miami, has been named the SEC Defensive Player of the Week.  The former two-star defender from Hiram, Ga had three tackles and three deflections to go with his pick-six against the RedHawks, his third defensive touchdown in as many years (although I love his quote about being mad about not getting two touchdowns).  He will likely dominate the bye week practice before giving Steve Kragthorpe another reason to hate his current situation next weekend.

Alabama’s Mark Ingram was named Offensive Player of the Week and UK QB Mike Hartline was named as one of the “Other Outstanding Performances” category.
