Liggins makes the roster

Hello, world. I apologize for the lack of updates over the past few hours. KSR employees appear to be MIA and I will personally make sure that at least two writers are fired before Christmas. One of them will likely be me. You’re welcome.

Anyway, we do have an NBA update for you on this festive Friday evening. Stan Van Gundy announced that there won’t be any roster moves before the season opener, which locks DeAndre Liggins into the Magic lineup.

All contracts become fully guaranteed on Feb. 10, unless the contract he signed in camp says otherwise.

Josh Harrellson and DeAndre Liggins on NBA rosters?  Somewhere, Billy Gillispie is smiling.

Go NBA Cats.

Congrats DeAndre. Proof that playing offense will get you laid, playing defense will get you paid.

Why would Billy G be smiling? They made it to the league DESPITE Billy Clyde, not because of him. Cal was was more responsible than that drunk fool.

Why is Gillispie smiling? Harrellson and Liggins didn’t get to the NBA because of Gillispie. They got there because of Calipari, hands down!

I believe Drew was using what is known as “sarcasm.”

Soooo…Louisville is not a very good basketball team. And I’m salivating thinking about the absolute thrashing we’re going to give them on the 31st.

Apparently the Yum! Center is now “one of the hardest places to play in college basketball.” Interesting…and completely inaccurate.

    9) With all the hand slapping and body checking the Dirty Birds get away with in the Chicken Coop, I almost have to agree. If this game was being played on a neutral court, WKU would be up by 15.

Congratulations DeAndre. You showed us your true mettle when you got a real coach in Cal. Glad that baby girl of yours will get a good start in life.

Lord, have mercy. How can Lousyville be the #4 team in the Commonwealth much less the nation? If it weren’t for the refs turning a blind eye to their constant hacking, they’d be losing right now.

Louisville’ defensive philosophy? Flop every time the ball handler gets near you.
And it seems to work for them, thanks to home cookin’ refs

Why would Bully Gillispie be smiling? That’s 2 more NBA players he didn’t even play, let alone develop. The only smile he smiles is the smile of an Idiot.

Congrats to Liggins. However he will have a hard time cracking the starting lineup unless the other team has Buckwheat ( Scotty Hopson ) in the starting lineup. I miss Buckwheat.

Amazing what Calipari does in developing pro talent. A few years ago, Liggins was a mess under Gillissipie. A few years laters, he is realizing his dream in the NBA.

Liggins still has a high ceiling too. Put on some weight, continue to develop offensive skills and confidence and he could be another Bruce Bowen-type player in 3 or 4 yrs.
