I didn’t go to the spring game, but I did listened to a lot of it on the radio and hearing the sirens made me really happy! I hope all of you guys took my advice on Thursday and went to your local NCAA Women’s Bowling bookie to bet a lot of money on Nebraska…just send my commission to the ‘John Short KSR Cruise Scholarship Fund’…and if you took my advice on The Masters instead, I’m sorry…

I didn’t get to see KSR on Saturday, had a long wait trying to get out of there, but it’s worth it! So this is what happens when you invest in the UK football program. People do care when UK cares.

So it’s story time uncle matt… who do you hate from the Masters?

Best of luck to Nerlens. I’m hoping he goes to Washington to play with John Wall. They need interior defenders.

Not knocking Nerlins, and very happy for him, but his offense has a long way to go and he is awfully thin to play in the post in the NBA. Still the potential #1 pick. Has anyone ever gained so much from an injury? As all other top-pick contenders flamed out in mediocrity, memories of what he did at Ole Miss propelled him to probable #1.

The problem with traffic was leaving the game. We left a few minutes into the 3rd quarter and did not move out of our row for over an hour. The problem was no police presence to direct traffic. The red lot and orange lot exited to the 4 way stop on Alumni. We then had to wait for the traffic light cycles at Alumni and Nicholasville to let out 5 cars and turn red again. It was horrible but well worth the PIA.

I have never been so frustrated with traffic, yet so proud of the reason for the traffic jam. Way to show up BBN. Go big blue!

Does it occur to anyone else that perhaps Wiggins has known all along that he was coming to UK and that Cal is simply orchestrating the timing of the announcement? Turns out Randle declares the day after UK loses in the NIT and the season is forgotten. Hawkins had an offer for over a month, but Cal asked him not to announce until he could sort out the roster (i.e., Harrow’s departure). Perhaps now that Noel has declared, the timing is right. Wouldn’t be surprised if he makes an announcement this weekend at Nike Hoops Summit. Cal could be an evil genius….

Delk for 3 is right. Food trucks are a very hot commodity in larger cities right now. I live in Columbus, OH. We have several that actually rotate out from meeting in a courtyard with a communal dining hall. It’s quite the rage. It may not have a long-term success rate but, for now, it makes money hand over fist.

Look at the bright side Ryan. While Matt, Drew, Tony, and Drew were having a blast, Shannon is in Chicago making dinner and cleaning the spot before his hedge-fund manager girlfriend comes home.

My buddy’s girlfriend was in town this weekend from Maryland and asked a good question. She asked me “since there is so much separation between what UK has won and what UL has won, how is it even a rivalry?”

St Pat – Mason Co is not much a rivalry. Mason Crushes St Pat regularly at most sports.

Hey, Matt. Actually, people in “little countries” really do care more when one of their own makes a splash on the international scene. When Kim Jong-il won the first twenty Masters, shooting an average of 30 under par (he decided to hang up his clubs when golf became too bourgeois), all of North Korea watched intently…and only minimal government threats were made to ensure complete viewership.

I left the Fayette Mall at 6:10 figured that would give me plenty of time to get to the spring game before it got started. Got parked and into the stadium at 7:40. 5 mins to go in the 2nd quarter. Traffic was horrendous.
