I didn’t go to the spring game, but I did listened to a lot of it on the radio and hearing the sirens made me really happy! I hope all of you guys took my advice on Thursday and went to your local NCAA Women’s Bowling bookie to bet a lot of money on Nebraska…just send my commission to the ‘John Short KSR Cruise Scholarship Fund’…and if you took my advice on The Masters instead, I’m sorry…
I didn’t get to see KSR on Saturday, had a long wait trying to get out of there, but it’s worth it! So this is what happens when you invest in the UK football program. People do care when UK cares.

Not knocking Nerlins, and very happy for him, but his offense has a long way to go and he is awfully thin to play in the post in the NBA. Still the potential #1 pick. Has anyone ever gained so much from an injury? As all other top-pick contenders flamed out in mediocrity, memories of what he did at Ole Miss propelled him to probable #1.
Spring game was a blast!! In addition to the game I had my first Firehouse Sub, first drink of Big House Bourbon. If only I could have broken my hip and needed Bluegrass Orthopedic.
That was my first spring game and I loved it!!
We got kicked out our seats because someone was sitting in them but we had tickets for. They were in the wrong section and thought they were in the right ones, so we moved near the 1st row.
Matt talks about Dykes like a dog, and then steals his material. Funny.
The road work kids commercial has GOT to GO. I almost ran my car off the road and through a crowd of elderly nuns because of those annoying kid’s ear piercing shrieks.
I only saw UK cops working traffic, not Lexington cops that they usually have working football games. They still had Alumni going both ways until the end of the game.
The Spring BLUE-WHITE Game was live and atmosphere incredible. Huge first step in the Stoops’ era and BBN was literally a sea of BLUE. And the Cat Walk…good night. Love the support for our CATS!
For me,Matt was the star of the Spring Game. He had people lined up asking for pictures and autographs in the stands.
I came Alumni traffic was fast and smooth. Got there at about 5:30

KSR fans were represented well at the Spring Game and tailgating. Who’s Who of KSR and got to meet several stars and Twitter fam. However, do not ask old guys to take your picture, as well as jokingly make the statement, “just keep walking…You are not a UK fan.” Haha…he got salty quickly.

Two firsts this weekend, my first trip to Commonwealth. It was great, my brother who is autistic, LOVES football, especially UK, so it was a real treat for him. Also my first time to call in to Matt and Ryan.

Hey!! Talk about football recruiting a little if you can! I was in section 107 in front most of the recruits and just sitting there listening to the all of the fathers talk about the great atmosphere! I was too hyped to hear them talk like that! Also we started a “We Want Barker!” chant as Drew Barker was walking up and down the steps to his seat. #GoCats
83 – It was good times. Saw people collecting garbage cans like they were keepsakes then took the after party to Tin Roof.
I think the crowd really wanted to make more noise at the game, but needed something to get it going. The fact that the wave went on for so long showed that fans really wanted to participate. I wish the cheerleaders would have led more cheers, but they stood around a lot. But it was a great time no matter what.

There was a story on Yahoo saying that it was Lindsey Vonn’s ex husband that called in. He even put up a tweet claiming he did it.
People call in violations all the time on PGA events. I like the guy who called into a PGA event to complain about the fake bird sounds the telecast was using because the bird he heard does not reside where the event took place.

#72 Yes Matt and Ryan used to talk about how Kentucky needed to get into Ohio all the time, especially Cincy. I think it might have even been when the Big EZ was his co-host. I know they talked about it before Dawson committed to USC as well.
The traffic going out of the stadium was awful. We didn’t move a single inch for 40 minutes. You’d think once the police realized how many people were there, they would’ve had a better plan. I go to every single home game and it never takes us that long to get out.

The traffic was horrible because Eli Capilouto set up road-blocks to search each car for contraband, musical instruments, alcohol and vuvuzelas
Worst commercial break in history? We had the yelling kids and 2 LouisvilleHelpWanted commercials…please make it stop.
The problem with traffic was leaving the game. We left a few minutes into the 3rd quarter and did not move out of our row for over an hour. The problem was no police presence to direct traffic. The red lot and orange lot exited to the 4 way stop on Alumni. We then had to wait for the traffic light cycles at Alumni and Nicholasville to let out 5 cars and turn red again. It was horrible but well worth the PIA.
I have never been so frustrated with traffic, yet so proud of the reason for the traffic jam. Way to show up BBN. Go big blue!
Does it occur to anyone else that perhaps Wiggins has known all along that he was coming to UK and that Cal is simply orchestrating the timing of the announcement? Turns out Randle declares the day after UK loses in the NIT and the season is forgotten. Hawkins had an offer for over a month, but Cal asked him not to announce until he could sort out the roster (i.e., Harrow’s departure). Perhaps now that Noel has declared, the timing is right. Wouldn’t be surprised if he makes an announcement this weekend at Nike Hoops Summit. Cal could be an evil genius….
Just imagine it is Ricky Bobby’s kids yelling at him in the commercial. It makes it a little more bearable to add additional lines like “Dad! Slooow Down! I will come at you like a spider monkey!”

I don’t write anything into Wiggins’ comments. The guy was interviewing him DURING THE GAME. He probably just threw stuff out there to get him to shut up and stop asking him questions about his recruitment. He gets questions about it 24/7 and to get them during the middle of a game had to have gotten on his nerves. The comments were very positive for UK but I’m just thinking he threw them out there.

211. I was at the Cubs game last Sunday. That offense can be really scary to the rest of the MLB if they keep this up, and the team averages aren’t even that good. If our pitchers hang in there, we’ll win the pennant.

Delk for 3 is right. Food trucks are a very hot commodity in larger cities right now. I live in Columbus, OH. We have several that actually rotate out from meeting in a courtyard with a communal dining hall. It’s quite the rage. I left the Fayette Mall at 6:10 figured that would give me plenty of time to get to the spring game before it got started. Got parked and into the stadium at 7:40. 5 mins to go in the 2nd quarter. Traffic was horrendous.
