If these Cats really get drafted in the NBA, what does it say about the League? Wow! Noel is truly the only elite talent we had. Even Shagari (upper decker) Alleyne was as good as these guys. They shouldn’t even have got the inbound pass from the baseline. They should have been on the corner on the sideline. There is an imaginary line that runs diagonal from the corner to the free throw line elbow and whatever side the ball is dead on that’s where the ball is inbounded from.

Embarrassing loss for Cal and the Cats. But next year will be better. UK fans now need to get behind the football team and forget about basketball till next season. I don’t think that all the guys from this years team comming back is such a great idea. Team chemistry is important and I don’t think this years players will be a positive influence on the young players comming in. Another blog said this was the worst UK team since Rick Pitino’s first UK team that went 14-14. But that team was decimated by NCAA sanctions and transfers. Eddie Sutton last team was the worst with a losing record.

Next years team will be unbelievable.. So was last years… This year was just sandwiched into a rough spot… Kids underachieved and didn’t gel just right.. I hope they all come back and develop into great college and then NBA players. I love coach Cal and am still 100 percent thankful hes our coach. In a little over a year I think we will all realize this year was a lesson Cal needed to learn. Depth and some seniority is important, even with the best talent. But, then again, if he wins a national title every 4 years no one is going to give a crap about the occasional bum season.

Actually, I could probably save money by paying WCS an x amount of change every time he hits a free throw. Including practice it only happens once every few months.
I will take a Final 8, a Final 4, A Natl Championship and a crappy NIT loss over a 4 year period. 75% success rate is pretty good. Also keep in mind we were getting better until Nerlens went down. We would have been an NCAA team (for what its worth) if Nerlens had not been injured.

30+ years as a hardcore fan and I’ve never experienced anything like this team. Not during probation, Tubbys worst seasons or even Drunklespie. I sincerely hope everyone on this team but Polson leaves. I’d love nothing more than to give those scholarships to people that deserve to wear the jersey. Of course I’m not talking about Noel but the rest of them I’d like to forget as soon as possible. It doesn’t get more embarrassing than what they’ve done.
What bothers me the most is not the losses but. No fight and heart . Everyone has bad years lack of heart bothers me. Payback will be sweet next year
