They shouldn’t even have got the inbound pass from the baseline. They should have been on the corner on the sideline. There is an imaginary line that runs diagonal from the corner to the free throw line elbow and whatever side the ball is dead on that’s where the ball is inbounded from.

Embarrassing loss for Cal and the Cats. But next year will be better. UK fans now need to get behind the football team and forget about basketball till next season. I don’t think that all the guys from this years team comming back is such a great idea. Team chemistry is important and I don’t think this years players will be a positive influence on the young players comming in. Another blog said this was the worst UK team since Rick Pitino’s first UK team that went 14-14. But that team was decimated by NCAA sanctions and transfers. Eddie Sutton last team was the worst with a losing record.

  71. Good Question #59
    11:20 pm March 19, 2013 Permalink

#59…SLIS Wildcat…Cal only had TWO timeouts left, and there were all of eight seconds left! If he called ONE timeout, that would only leave ONE for the end of the game. Come on, now…you’re beginning to believe Calipari could draw up a four second play, and you’re also assuming our kids could RUN a four second play. Wiltjer for 3 was probably as clean a look as this group could have had…at least we got a shot off. Good comment, though. Seriously.

  72. kelkat
    11:20 pm March 19, 2013 Permalink

#59 and have to get into a play with 3 seconds?

You can analyze it all over and over… Why didn’t Pitinio put a guy on the passer throwing it in to Lattner? I mean…what if? what if?

We didn’t lose the game on the last play…

Next years team will be unbelievable.. So was last years… This year was just sandwiched into a rough spot… Kids underachieved and didn’t gel just right.. I hope they all come back and develop into great college and then NBA players. I love coach Cal and am still 100 percent thankful hes our coach. That being said, If these people who comment all this funny anti-uk stuff really are trolls…. Don’t call them out.. It’s funny to read (most of the time) there are actually some creative ones that are pretty witty! Without fans on both sides going back and forth.. The rivalry dies just a little.. 30+ years as a hardcore fan and I’ve never experienced anything like this team. Not during probation, Tubbys worst seasons or even Drunklespie. I sincerely hope everyone on this team but Polson leaves. I’d love nothing more than to give those scholarships to people that deserve to wear the jersey. Of course I’m not talking about Noel but the rest of them I’d like to forget as soon as possible. It doesn’t get more embarrassing than what they’ve done.

What bothers me the most is not the losses but. No fight and heart . Everyone has bad years lack of heart bothers me. Payback will be sweet next year

It’s over now…thank the lord. Let’s just move on. I think we’ve beaten this dead Wildcat, er horse, enough.

59 – because he wanted this season to be over just as much as we did.
