1- I went to BBM in 2010 (I think)… the year Enes was supposed to play.

I was not impressed. It was cool and all, but my buddy and I discussed the letdown all the way back home to western Ky. I’ll never go again, seemed to be a huge waste of time and money.

    2cents.

Matt tells us hes a UK fan and stands behind the football team. Well we havent even fired our football coach and yet he comes on his radio and this site to promote his so called SOURCES he gets from Mike Pratt and people in the Athletic Dept. Its truly getting old. You say you like Joker? funny. People who like one another dont spread his sources or his garbage and promote coaching change ideas to his listeners or that person he likes as a person. You lost your job on KSTV due to laying your hands on a good friend who did alot of work on your site by the name of Thomas Beisner. See everybody thinks your so nice and always there for the UK fans. Your act is getting old dude. Your going well due to one person…John Calipari. After awhile people will get tired of you and to be honest they already are. Get a life and quit promoting Jokers successor.

Here’s my view on the thought process: Max Smith won the battle. Newton was a senior he’s staying. Whitlow gives them a change of pace and different skill set. Towles is the same as Smith, red-shirting him gives him a year of separation.

This discussion is a prime example of the biggest difference between Joker and Brooks. The reason Brooks was successful was because for the first time in a long time, we had depth. There’s not much you can do about injuries, especially to QBs, but Brooks had depth on the bench. That’s what it takes to win in the SEC and we don’t have it anymore.

It wasn’t even a draw on 3rd and 12. I expected that, since that’s what we run 90% of the time, but it was a SWEEP!!!! Why!?!? I could be wrong but regardless, no other team would have given up at that point but we obviously did. There’s no argument. You can’t convince me that they tried to win at that point.

Matt, please no Cutcliffe. I understand the appeal, but the guy is a big DB. If we’re going the DB route, I want Petrino. In 2008 I visited my friend at Duke and we parked near Duke’s high school sized football stadium. Apparently we parked it Cutcliffe’s unmarked spot and then he showed up and parked so close behind us that we couldn’t get out. We then had to track him down and he sent a player to move it. The clincher: the player said “Sorry, Coach does this [stuff] all the time.” And I believe Duke won only 1-2 games the prior year…imagine how bad he’d be with even a little merit! Stop all the talk about some of the upcoming games being winnable! I’ll give you 1. I don’t care what the record is of everyone we’ve played, it’s how we performed in those games. We played out of our minds for 29 minutes against a South Carolina team that never doubted the outcome of the game. The lack of leadership and competency this coaching staff shows is nothing short of despicable!

Their topic was how we are getting these players and mentioned that World Wide WEs was STILL getting these players for us, they also mentioned (some callers) how we pay players, blah blah blah blah blah, BUT I’m waiting for someone to call in and ask THEM, HOW did UL get Bridgewater or any of the other “good” players they got. WE don’t have to leave campus for Cal to get these players (Wiltjer) but they (not having any of the tradition we have) would have to work their butt’s off to compete with other big name schools. Am I right on that?

Kentucky need somebody who has an exciting brand of football as well as a fire in order to keep Kentucky fans energized. Even if they are not as big of a name as Jim Tressel.

All you people saying you don’t want Tressel because he didn’t beat the SEC. Yeah, I’d much rather have a guy from Lousiana Tech or a mid-major program who never even played the SEC teams. Much less played them on the biggest stage of them all, in BCS bowls. Come on people think before you speak.

230 — I know they have often been bad, but they have a higher winning percentage in their history than most franchises. They are not even close to the worst in terms of winning percentage — in fact, they are close to the top with a .512 winning percentage.

You guys walking around in Brooklyn would be hilarious on a ton of levels. From the hipsters to the hood, you’d encounter 95% people who didn’t give a [email protected]#k what you were doing. The vast majority of fans will surely stay in Manhattan. Do the show from Times Square, you’ll get the show you want.

If you want to be guaranteed to win then you know your man is Petrino. He is just a smart coach. It may take a couple years, but he will really get this program going.

Current caller said it right that the SEC is a “safe” conference, but if UK wants to ensure that they get to stay in the SEC going forward, then they better get used to the idea of feeding that cash cow that they are milking before it dies of starvation.

To the caller who saw all the UK gear in Destin, FL – Destin is a MAJOR vacation destination for Kentuckians, because it is within 12 hours driving distance to almost the whole state. It is often referred to as “Louisville South” by many of the locals because of the huge influx of people from that area during the summer. My folks have had a place down there since 1982.

I would love to be able to go to NYC for the Maryland game. I love driving around the different boroughs, as well as riding the trains to different areas and attractions. It is just an awesome town to explore and be in although I wouldn’t ever want to live there.

Really? People please quit talking bout depth and injuries! It does not matter! We have got the talent to be one of the better offenses in the sec but our coaching is pathetic!! I wanted him to succeed but I truly believe that joker is the worst head coach in college football! From the horrific play calling to the inexcusable clock management! I’ve said it before. U could give joker and his staff alabama’s roster n the would be lucky to go 8-4! I’m sorry, but anyone who still supports joker and his staff know absolutely nothing bout the game and are what’s wrong with this fan base!!!
