Kentucky Sports Radio

University of Kentucky Basketball, Football, and Recruiting news brought to you in the most ridiculous manner possible.

Last Call For Podcasting!

Closer to the mic, cartoon radio guy!

Just as a reminder, this year we want to try a lot of new things with the podcasts.  This means new venues, new ideas, new guests and new microphones we don’t have to talk so close to.  But we’re still looking for all of those – particularly venues – so let me know your thoughts on them. Do you know a restaurant owner that wants to meet Drew Franklin?  Maybe there’s a charity event you think could use some publicity.  Or maybe your mom makes a mean 7 layer dip and you want to have us over to your place.  No idea is too ridiculous, so let me know.

If you want to:

-Hear the Turkey Hunter’s out takes that never make the air,

-Ask Matt where he gets his hair cut,

-Receive free publicity through the website,

-Get UKAndrew to come hang out with you,

-Or just to ask me how my New Years was,

Email me at [email protected] (or [email protected]) and we can work towards making your dreams come true.

-Minus Masters Week however, when the majority of us head out of town and rent our houses out.

#1–we could do a joint venture for the Georgia blog fans. Meet at Lake Oconee at the Ritz for a podcast? They need the publicity, I’m sure.

I know you are on Clear Channel, which is totally against satellite radio, but i know there are some shows that are on BOTH Terrestrial radio and satellite. Is there anyway that it could be pulled off for a Clear Channel station. If so it would be HUGE for the Big Blue Nation to go nation wide. Matt has already done so on his own (with the CBS gig) so how bout the KSR radio show going NationWide baby on the BIG BIRDS IN THE SKY!!!!!!!!! I can hear it now the BIG BLUE NATION and Howard Stern on the same network. Then the world would be perfect. Peace…………

8–No kidding! Growing up in SEC country before re-locating, has made me appreciate quality football. God my Spartans sucked today! I knew we’d lose, but JEEEZ! Big 10 was 0-5 for the day. At least that whore Ann Arbor lost. So, I got something out of the deal.

I can’t believe that we are discussing where a KSR podcast should be held just one day after the tragedy that took place in downtown Louisville yesterday
