Last week it was Guy and Tydlacka, but this week the captain honors go to Larry Warford and Randall Burden. I’m not sure about either of their records with captainly duties (like watching a coin flip,) but they have both had strong seasons so far with Burden icing the game with a pick in the fourth last weekend and Warford being an anchor in the trenches. There’s not really much else to say about that, other than I hope they both remember to pack their electric buzzers for tomorrows pregame hand shakes. Or at the least printing off a copy of Drew’s TAWWTTW for the UofL captains so they can have their hearts crushed on the sidelines.
With that said, as you may have read last week – I am taking a hiatus from KSR effective now. This will officially be my last post around these parts for a while so I wanted to take the opportunity to publicly thank Matt for the opportunity he has provided me, and the readers for all the support. Oh, and the comment section, for ruthlessly mocking, my choice, of comma placement.
It’s been a fun twoish years, and hopefully me stepping away is just the change Kentucky needs to finally beat Tennessee. But first, the Cards.
