I think we can all agree that Thursday’s night game against Western flat out sucked. You’re angry about it, I’m angry about it, and it looks like La’Rod King is angry, too. But not just about the game; he’s angry about the fans’ reaction to the game. Yesterday, the junior wideout, considered by many to be the Cats’ most talented receiver in the preseason, let everyone know how he feels about the sense of panic in the Big Blue Nation:
“I don’t care what they got to say honestly. We’re here. The team is our team. Everybody outside, you’re not in here so I don’t want to hear it. So whatever.”
Is King simply being an emotional twenty-year-old who should have thought before he spoke? Is this shades of Randall Cobb’s “Level 9 pissed” tweets from last season (All hail golden eyes!)? Should King care what the fans think and vice versa?
