Kyle Wiltjer: Injury Report

I have a feeling this is Wiltjer’s version of the Josh Harrellson Free Throw picture.

As Drew mentioned in the night post, Kentucky commit Kyle Wiltjer left a game Tuesday night after falling awkwardly on his ankle and injuring it.  The doctors have looked at it, and it looks like Wiltjer may have a high ankle sprain.  Either way, the Jesuit senior may miss up to four weeks according to his coach.  Of course, it’s uncertain as to whether his coach is a Rick Pitino follower or not, which could bring Wiltjer back this weekend.  Either way, he’s scheduled to be healthy in time for the Oregon playoffs, which I vote he sits out of anyways so he can be healthy when he gets to Lexington.

But you know, that’s just me.

Has Kyle been doing Weightlifting by Jon Hood workouts? Maybe he can use the downtime to work out the upper body.

When was the last time we got the best player out of Oregon two years in a row? Actually, the better question is when was the last time we wanted the best player from Oregon two years in a row.
