(Now that’s what I call an intro.)
Over the course of the summer multiple members of the media have been creating their lists of potential breakout stars in college basketball. C.J. Moore, regular contributor to BasketballProspectus.com wanted to get in on the action so used the technological marvel known as YouTube to list his choices. Moore looked throughout college basketball to see which players who didn’t log many minutes in 2011-12 would become the breakout stars this season based off their advanced stats. Number two on his list would be no other than our own Kyle Wiltjer. While talking quietly and looking very awkward in his home with pictures hung unevenly, Moore cited Wiltjer’s efficient three point shooting as the reason for his breakout success. Other players listed were Marquette’s Davante Gardner, Syracuse’s James Southerland, and James Michael McAdoo of North Carolina.
