Kyle Macy Enters The Jungle

One half of the Dave Baker and Kyle Macy show made a brief appearance on The Jungle yesterday. Kyle Macy was on Jim Rome’s show to talk about how awesome John Calipari is. Macy told Rome he believes Coach Cal will be around for a while because Cal is ‘King’ in Lexington and he really enjoys it there.

Take a listen. (After KSR, of course.)

considering some racists associate african americans with gorillas in the jungle, and that macy is surrounded my african americans in this picture…it probably was a poor choice of picture

#1 That just might be the dumbest thing I have ever read in the comments section. And for this website that is saying something.

Jim Rome is the most annoying voice in sports radio. Besides Tony Vanetti.

Who are the other players in that picture? Macy and Bird are obvious, and I think that’s Moncrief in the Bucks’ jersey. I thought that was Brandon Knight with a bad fake mustache on the bottom left.

Looks like left to right. Back row: Sleepy Floyd, Dale Ellis, Larry Bird, Trent Tucker.

Front Row: Norm Nixon, Craig Hodges, ????, Kyle Macy.

If I had to guess it’s from an early 80’s all-star weekend three point shooting event.

It’s from the 1986 3 point shootout contest.

    12) That makes more sense than my theory. I figured Larry Bird was wearing an All-Star jersey just to be a jerk. You know a “check out my awesome mustache and All-Star jersey.”

i didn’t remember macy ever making the all-star team?

I’m pretty young. So my mental image of Macy has always been bald grim reaper macy. Glad to see he was once a normal looking guy. Not that hes really weird looking now. I just always see current macy in a all black hooded cloak with the hood down holding a reaper. I know its weird.
