This is off the subject, but has anyone else noticed the quotes from Pitino that he told his kids that their goal is to win 2 games on the road(Big East games) and win all of their home games. Can you imagine if Coach Cal told our players this? We all would be going wild. You’re telling your kids that it is OK to lose. Shouldn’t you try to win all games and not concede anything? Pitino is done, put a fork in him!!!

So next time you guys should make sure you’re recording the hand held microphone audio and not the one attached to the camera, it’d get rid of all that background noise. Just a tip!

Guys, knowing the power of the BIG BLUE NATION on voting polls, I thought that I would try this. My army buddy that I served with overseas has a daughter. I am her godfather. They live in Worcester, Massachusetts. She is trying for some spot on a TV program there. I would appreciate anyone who would take the time to vote for her. Her name is Kayla Daly. You can just copy the link and place your vote. Thanks in advance for anyone who would take the time to do this. GO BIG BLUE.http://www.facebook.com/questions/174199872680703/

DEREK DOESNT SEEM HAPPY OR EXCITED. So much of celebrity and fame is structured or fabricated. Derek is experienceing just the beginning of a what so many sacrifice for fortune and fame. maybe he will move to the nesxt lvl and be a pawn in the NBA.

Don’t get me wrong, he is a very good player. But if he were an out of state player, his commitment wouldn’t move the needle. I have my doubts that Cal would have offered. He just trying to stick it to Rick, which is fine with me.

I’m sure he’s uber intelligent but how smart can this kid be if he seriously had Dwight Shrute on his radar as a coach?

I’m glad we have him. Solid 3-4 year guy with great upside. Above average athlete, big hands, good handle, has a stroke, a little bounce in his legs, solid work ethic and comes from a good family situation. Keep in mind, he’s just a junior and his body is going to mature over the next year and a half. We will probably witness some growth in his body and game even before he steps onto the floor sporting a blue practice jersey. Once he gets here and Cal and the staff start working him and he’s competing against the tough competition practice after practice, his game will take off and the UL haters will be wiping tears from their line beards.

I just read some of the comments on the Loserville message boards and those people are really pitiful…the things they are saying about this kid, his dad, his coach etc. That may be why they have a very difficult time ever getting any decent talent on their campus. Keep it up Tard fans, it just helps us!! Ha Ha

He looks better than Hood to me, but I’m not very good at judging from youtube videos, which is all that I saw of Hood before his days at UK, and all I’ve seen of Willis. Lets remember he has 1.5 seasons of basketball to play, and two summers of play, before getting to UK. Then he’ll have some strength training before BBM. I see lots of time and opportunities for him to bulk out, get better, and work on the types of things that he knows Cal wants to see.

I didnt tell him where to go. He can, and did, make up his own mind. If you don’t believe me, wait until he starts playing and see if I have season tix. If i do, then there ya go.

This is a great get! The kid is going to be a 4 year player, and he seems to have the skill set to succeed. He will fill the Darius Miller role when he is here. There will be more high profile recruits ahead of him, and around him, when he gets here. Yet, the kid will grow into the program, and be a rock of experience, combined with talent. This is big for the overall chemistry of our future Cats.

This kid is really down to Earth, he will stay humble and will work hard every day. I am glad he committed. He may need some work, but its better than a head case like Walker. I’m sure bein a KY kid had somethin to with it, but Calipari sees in guys what he wants and Willis’ versatility, shot, and handles make him a perfect player for Cal. Of course you are going to offer the good in-state kids, they will be 3-4 year players and Cal isnt dumb, he knows he needs players who will stick around. Its like in the 2014 class, I think it is anyway, Jonathan Davis outta Lafayette will eventually be offered. He has schools like Kansas after him so there is no way Cal will let that kinda talent outta Lexington, unless Davis just wants to move away, but his dad was a Cat so I would almost guarantee him to be a commit for which ever class he is apart of.
