Last time I went to a Gatti’s was Gattitown in Lexington. When I was looking at what prizes to get, who do I see with a huge haul of prizes? Josh Harrellson and his girlfriend. As the kids say, I geeked. I’m not sure why, it was probably because randomness of being at Gattitown. But they were really nice and he took a picture with me!

How in the world did somebody at UK drop the ball on the twins and Young not being enrolled in time? That should be a fireable offense for somebody. Now a couple months of building chemistry and working out with teammates is out the window. That’s unbelievable that that would happen at this Gold Standard program. Wow.

I have heard Matt say soo many times that Cal wont have the #1 recruiting class in 2014. I completely disagree. I think he is saying this because he is not as familiar with the class yet. Yes, It appears Okafor (who is vastly overrated) and Jones are headed to Duke, but Duke is not involved with anyone else in the top 15.

    UK has this:

Emanuel Mudiay (3) — We will get him
We Will get 1 of Cliff Alexander (4) or Trey Lyles (5)
We are surging for Rashad Vaughn (7) because UNC filled his position
Cal REALLY wants Stanley Johnson (8) and Cal gets guys who he really wants
And we already have Karl Towns (9) who I think is really the best player in the nation.

We also REALLY like Craig Victor (#21 and 5-star), Devin Booker (#27/ 4 star) and Josh Perkins (#28/ 4-star)

Cal is going to have 7-8 open scholarships.

    Best Case Scenario:

Emanuel Mudiay (3), Cliff Alexander (4), Rashad Vaughn (7), Stanley Johnson (8), Karl Towns (9), Craig Victor (21)

That is #1 easily with 5 top 10 guys

    Worst Case Scenario:

    Emanuel Mudiay (3)
    Stanley Johnson (8)
    Karl Towns (9)
    Craig Victor (21)
    Devin Booker (27)
    Josh Perkins (28)

Rivals Showed in 2012 when UCLA had 2 of the top 3, #27 and #62 that it still was not enough to take down UK who had the #2, #8, #14 and #40 guys. UK will once again EASILY be #1

Sounds to me like The Harrisons and Young packed up their ball and went home like babies.

Dominique didn’t go for 27 on either Harrison twin. I was there, the Harrisons were the biggest kids on their team and the only good players on their team, pretty remarkable their team was as good as they were cause if you take them two away they are about a 10 win team in Kentucky high school but with them they are a top 10 team in the country. However, Hawkins was guarded by a very quick guard but he was about 5’8 the whole game, not the Harrisons guarding him, they put the Harrisons on the worst two players to keep them out of foul trouble and one of them still had 3 fouls in the 1st half and pouted and whined to refs the whole game. It was a real spectacle with Daddy Harrison sitting behind the bench screaming at them to run the floor and quit standing on the offensive end and not running back, couple of primadonnas

Clearly that wasn’t in the plans or they wouldn’t have come last weekend. Cal also hasn’t said a word about it and he would normally be out in front of that if it wasn’t a big deal. 58- Here’s Cal’s quote: “The (high school) year was longer for them,” Calipari explained. “The other thing is, they had some things to finish up academically. I think they’re going to come in this weekend, and what we’re hoping is that they’re able to flow into the six-week (summer school) session. And if they’re not, they’ll stay a couple more weekends and they’ll be fine and be here. But I’m excited about those three.”

Some things to finish up academically after graduation? Clearly they aren’t out of the woods yet as far as eligibility is concerned. Nothing to be too worried about yet, but it’s not a positive development either.

Little bummed about the trivia. I’ve listened to them all and everyday there’s so many bad answers or no answer at all and I finally call in and know every answer but got beat to the punch each time but one…

The day I call I face the only 3 “It” savants alive in the world LOL.

    81) I got based on Rivals, cuz its generally the best site:

    Blake Bone – ****
    Braxton Berrios – ****
    TV Williams – ***

Virtually all HS players need to put weight on…. also, TV had the 2nd fastest shuttle time and ran a sub 4.4-40. Gotta catch him first… Berrios is a hell of a slot guy.

Look at Craig Yeast and Percy Harvin and many others….they showed if you are fast, you can make it in the SEC….think you are just a hater…

104 — Certainly Stoops. Losing to Western Kentucky would impede the recruiting when it is on as good a roll as it ever has.
