Madison is only 23? Would have never thought that! I wonder what the big news Matt sorta alluded to yesterday will be?

  2. UK_JB

Uncle Matt… I still can’t believe Madison is in his 20’s. I haven’t been this disappointed since I told there wasn’t a santa clause.
We will see the truth today? I think so. Maybe his UK wife will come out!

So who would you vote for? Both KSR fans… The great Joe Palumbo or a nice guy Andy Barr?

Owensboro gets a stop cause it is one of the larger cities in the state. It is also a place where Matt would like to get KSR on at. By the way Owensboro is in Northern Kentucky, just not Northeastern Kentucky.

Rex was a TOTAL rock star. I skipped the 1st part of a high school dance to drive to Mt. Washington to see Chapman and his Owensoboro Apollo team play Bullitt East High School. Those of us who were lucky enough to have tickets were mobbed by people at our high school when we got to the dance late, and it wasn’t for a dance (not a stretch in my case of course, but for some of the guys I was with it was) it was for stories of how did Rex look? Richie Farmer was something to see in High School for the sickness of his outside shot, but Rex was a MAN playing among barely boys at that level. He did a 360 dunk at a time when you didn’t see that a lot in college, much less in high school. I still remember that night nearly 30 years later.

8 or 9 more commits is about the limit. And its not “grey shirting”….We didn’t take the full allotment last year…We took 22 of our 25….so that gives us 3 extra for this coming year….so we can take 28 BUT 3 of those have to be Early Enrollee’s to count towards 2013’s numbers. Barker is said to be an EE and we need a couple more to be….that’s how it works…

It is actually vinegar based. When people talk about Western Kentucky BBQ they are talking mainly Daviess County. Also, Union County and Fancy Farm. Places where a large influx of Catholics settled and have picnics every summer to raise money for the church. Western Kentucky BBQ was started with the churches.

#103 I have spent a lot of time in Owensboro. My sister was the Sports Editor at the Messenger Inquirer several years ago. I love the city and miss going there, since she moved.

There’s a conspiracy theory about why the Rolling Stone used that kid’s picture on their cover. Google: Rolling Stone writer Hastings murdered by the government. (They might be sticking it to the Feds for revenge).

Moonlite is for rednecks. Buffet food so you can get your bucks worth.

Yeah, pretty much throw out any place that has a buffet as the best of anything other than a buffet.

#114 I haven’t tried that one. I’ll definitely be checking it out. I always love the Knights of Columbus bbqs on holidays. I’m biased because my dad used to help cook at those.

I think Cal loves people but he is also very protective of his guys so sometimes it makes people think the wrong thing about him. I love Cal!!

I was at a Coach Cal book signing in Owensboro and I arrived a little late. He stuck around just to make sure my book was signed.

McEnroe topic suggestions since I could not call in today. McEnroe was one and done in tennis at Stanford where he won NCAA as a freshman then became a pro. Could ask him about that experience and how it compares to basketball’s one and done players and if there was an age restriction for turning pro when he played. He is also a huge NY Knicks fan so he could talk about his feelings about one and done players from an NBA fans perspective.

Matt the problem now will be getting the students to actually come into the game, be there at kickoff and stay for the whole game. Buying $30 season tkts is just a small piece to it

Ryan’s sweat ran into the box and the Louisville and Florida ones are stuck to the bottom.
