KSR Radio Back Tomorrow

I hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas with their families and friends. For many, the next week is a chance to have an extended vacation between the holidays, but not for us. KSR will be running at normal speed tomorrow on the blog and the radio show returns to get you ready for Louisville week as well. We are live in studio tomorrow, at Bearno’s in Jeffersonville, Indiana on Thursday and at Fan Outfitters in Louisville on Friday. So tune in at 10 am and get ready for some Card trash talking until the game on Saturday. While you are returning gifts, join the crew for all the UK talk you can handle.

@1 Well ToeMater, why don’t you give him a “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” makeover? That way, you can teach him how to pick out “pretty” shirts.

  8. Louisville #1 city

Matt, discuss tomorrow how LOUISVILLE was voted the #1 city to visit last month by a NATIONAL TRAVEL site . . . YOUR SITE seems to bash the Steam Engine that keeps this state running and the one YOU CHOSE to live in…. Explain to your listeners how they need to get out of their nice little towns and Hollers and see all that LOUISVILLE has to offer . . . SMH at some of the stupid, illiterate comments on this site about Kentucky’s world class city!!!

Live in Louisville. Hate a big part of it and comment #8 is a big reason why. One travel site picks it because of bourbon and the derby and you all go freakin’ crazy. More people in the state have been to Louisville, than those in it that have never been out in the state. Any chance that after 100 years they finally pick Louisville because they ran out of choices. If you believe it’s better to visit than New York, San Francisco, Miami, or any of the other 180 cities and towns actually ahead of it, you have never traveled. But don’t worry, one reason why I hate the city of Louisville is I know there is already billboard, a bunch of street signs, and probably a park being made for making a travel website. Only a UofL education causes you to not be able to separate the city of Louisville with 40% UK fans and the junior college. That is why UK fans hate the city if they do, it is the fans of UofL that are so myopic that don’t know the difference between the 8 blocks of standing sewage on Floyd Street and the awesomeness of Bardstown Road and St. Mathews.

TL;DR: Louisville sucks and their fans and the 8 blocks of sewer around Floyd ST are the reasons the city is unbearable. And note the article doesn’t say to move to Louisville, it says spend a weekend during Derby.

8.) They must mean to visit Louisville if you have already visited about 100 other cities in the U.S.

8 – Matt has said on numerous occasions that Louisville is a nice city, and I will agree – its the people that suck.

Parts of the CITY of Louisville are okay but it is the OBNOXIOUS A$$HOLE FANS that make the city unbearable. If they all were to leave and NORMAL people moved into the city, then it would be great.

#8 I think it was mentioned on KSR. For the most part it’s not the city we have the problem with, it’s the ghetto commuter school that shares the same name that we hate.

    Calm down guys,
    Detroit is our sewer, Cleveland
    is next, followed by Indianoplace…
At least you don’t freeze year round

Moved to Louisville from western Ky 25 years ago. It is an above average place to live. There is plenty to do for me. But it could have been a lot better. The former mayor (Abramson) was more of a cheerleader than anything else and held back its development during his tenure. He had no vision whatsoever. The downside of Louisville is the liberal Courier-Journal and the city’s crime rate. It seems there’s a killing in the west end about every day. All in all, I would still have made the move here. But it doesn’t compare with a city like Nashville.
