KSR Podcast raises $673,000 (or maybe it was DanceBlue)

Picture from a previous year, they raised more money this season

Before we get back into Kentucky news, we need to give a great congrats to the good people of DanceBlue, who wrapped up their 24-hour dance marathon last night, and announced they raised $673,000for children’s cancer research.  That total exceeded last year’s total and now gives the organization almost 3 MILLION DOLLARS in donations since its beginnings in 2005.  I certainly don’t know this, but I would be stunned if there are not several KSR readers who have benefited from the money raised.  And it is not just this weekend where the money can be donated.  If you feel good, send these amazing people some money at danceblue.org.

By the way, the fellas DID record a podcast at the event, which should be available in the near future.  So something else to look forward to.  But in the meantime, celebrate something that REALLY matters, like curing cancer, especially in children.  And go to the website above and donate.
