KSR is going to The Masters

maxim

At 6:00 a.m. tomorrow morning, Matt and I will be on an airplane heading south to sunny Augusta, Georgia for the The Masters. The fine people at IZOD and Maxim magazine invited us to take in all the action at the Maxim Clubhouse throughout the week at the tournament, including Wednesday night’s IZOD/Maxim launch party. Yes, this trip is as ridiculous as it sounds.

We will do the radio show from Augusta on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday so expect a lot of Masters talk and possibly even a few special guests on those days. We’ll also be posting on the website from one of those couches you see in the photo. That will be the KSR Augusta branch for the week.

We’re very excited about the trip and the opportunity to meet Jim Nantz again, and we hope you enjoy whatever coverage we come up with. Thanks to IZOD and Maxim for the invite and for wasting a good square at the social media hub with the KSR logo.

Who cares. Golf is the most boring sport to watch on tv. Good luck to the cards. Bring the title back to the bluegrass.

ESPN’s guy just said Louisville’s celebrating the selection of their Hall of Fame coach. Just a quibble – while he’s coach there, I daresay he’s only in the Hall of Fame because of his time at UK, yes? The final fours at Providence and Louisville are notable, but without 96 (and 97), he’s not in the HoF.

So enjoy your kinda honor, Louisville.

Franklin, good luck on pickin’ up all that tail. I’m sure there will be buttloads of it.

This is the one week out of the year that SOMETHING is going on here in Augusta. Most locals leave to avoid the hassle.

13- I’d be shocked. I figured with the testosterone at dangerous levels that women would be better safe at home.

You would think but there is literally NOTHING to do here so unless, they are like ALOT of the locals and just leave town for the week everyone is out in force if they can take the crowds. But they do grow them nice here….but not like Kentucky.

    Drew,
Remember when Uofl fans made a big deal out of burning couches? This is what Louisville has to worry about.

Trapped in Atlanta for business, and got on the elevator with two men and women decked out in Cardinal gear. They had just left the bar area. They were probably in their late 50s. Low and behold one of the ladies started telling her friends about one of her friends who is a KY fan. She said the KY fan wished her well and she hopes Louisville wins. She loudly said , you know what I wanted to say to her, f××× you! As they were leaving the elevator, I told them I too was a diehard KY fan. Of course, they had a good laugh. No true KY fan should root for the Cards. This is what they truly think about you when you are not around. Go Michigan!!!
