Its a big night tonight as the Cats go on the road to face the evil Florida Gators. Because of that, three things are going to happen:
1. I am going to get a haircut. It is scheduled for 5 pm and is going to be a monumental event that might even include a dramatic change in hair length. The press has been alerted.
2. I will be on the pregame radio show on 1300 AM at 7:30 pm for a bit to discuss the game.
3. We will be doing a LIVE BLOG at 8:30 pm for the game with special guest Bomani Jones, doing the Gregg Doyel “outsider watching the game” thing with us. He is in Toronto working on his new radio show, so it will be an international perspective.
There is almost no news to speak of today which gives an eerie “calm before the storm” type feeling. This will likely be the only Florida Gators home sellout of the year (arent you glad you stayed Billy?) and my guess is most attention will be on Tim Tebow if he is in attendance.
Nevertheless, I am really excited about watching the team on its first road test of the SEC. If you are looking for a fix of entertainment, listen to our last podcast below as we (sort of) preview the Florida game throughout. Plus if you havent heard it yet, Woo is always worth a listen. Also, congrats to big time UK/KSR fan and Lexington native Josh Hopkins on the news that his show “Cougartown” is being renewed for another season. Anyone who can do the John Wall dance twice in one season is deserving of praise.
Tonight will be fun…
