Joker phillips is the right man from day 1 since his hiring. You gotta give a Coach 5-6 solid years in a football program to rebuild esp in the SEC!! Sometimes KY fans are idiots. YOu cant judge a coach by a win loss record. We are improving, our recruiting class is great, our soph is a starting QB! Come on yall! Look at RichBrooks….his first 3 years he won 9 games. We sucked…but after he won a few postseason bowls a few years later…everyone loved him and gargled him! Give Joker a chance!IM JOker Phillips all the way. We will never go 9 -0 at UK evern with Urban Meyer. Support who we have, wear your UK football shirts with provide and get onthe bandwagon.

  11. Dear IU and UL, We are National Champs; you are not. The end.

#11…..I think you blue koolaid was spiked with some fine spirit. I wear my UK gear with “provide” (pride), but it has nothing to due with anything that Joker has done. I hope the guy turns it on this year and we make a bowl and then he goes on to make us a national title contender, but that is my hope for any coach of our programs. Do I believe he can mirror anything nea and above what Rich Brooks did…..not at this point, but if we come out and spank Western and have confidence rolling into the USCjr game then who knows.

This is funny. Its OBVIOUS that my beloved KSR wants to keep Joker even if it means the death of our football program as per them feeding us pro joker propaganda since the beginning of the season. Most fans agree that Joker should and will be gone after 2012…..and the only group of people that KSR can find who support Joker……a group of drunk tailgaters. I rest my case.

Firstly, #17 would give his left nut if Jefra even glanced at him. Second, #10, #12, it’s called “spell check” and most computers manufactured after 2002 have them. Try it, you’ll like it. Finally, it’s very telling that the majority of those interviewed, who by the way are people who paid money to come to the games, believe he’s either not the right guy or are leaning that way. Usually the ones who show up are the hard core UK Kool Aid drinkers. Oh, and #17, it’s “if YOU’RE a female”. You need to quit Google imaging Jefra Bland and find the spell check on your computer as well.

The “joke” is on you UK fans if you think UK will EVER field a competitive FB team as long as we play in the SEC! With Mizzou and A&M coming on board, it just got that much harder. Petrino will NOT be hired at UK. And by the way, as I read somewhere the other day, guess whose offense yields the best stats after 2 games, Joker’s or Mike Leach’s? So boot Joker, bring on the next sacrificial lamb of a coach, give him 3 years, whine about him, replace him and start over. Again. Its a vicious cycle that won’t end until/unless the state of Kentucky quadruples its population, produces at least a dozen 4/5 star prospects, and UK can secure big $$ to throw at FB. In short, forget about it! (any errors or omissions spell check fags?)

    # 24. It is exactly that attitude that has gotten us into this position in football. Tennessee doesn’t produce much talent in football either, but James Franklin has managed to build a VERY tough team in 2 years at a school that limits your players even more because of their academic requirements. Not to mention he passed up UK in terms of recruiting AND field performance in less than ONE YEAR. Franklin has proved what a good coach can do at a school in a short period of time. Joker has proven what happens when you don’t have a coach.

    1. Improving- Record has got worse and teams have got worse in 2 years.
    2. Recruiting- #62 and #61 in the nation 14/14 in the SEC yep Joker is burning up the recruiting trail

26–quit muddying up the water with facts. we need to give joker 5 or 6 more years in addition to the 5 or 6 years he has already had as oc/head recuiter/coach in waiting. mediocrity takes time.

This whole interview is B.S.!!!!! Going around to the taigaters asking if Joker should be the coach?!?! This was classless…. I don’t think Joker is living up to the job, but to go around, before a home game, and ask fans about Joker, and then post it on here??? I thought KSR was better than that.

32 – Amen, brother. I live in Nashville, and the hype has suddenly toned down after 0-2. I think we’ve seen his type before – big talker, obnoxious, makes sudden improvements in moribund program before hitting the ceiling – Bruce Pearl, maybe?

I didn’t think he was right for the job when he was still OC and they named him head coach in waiting. A mediocre OC doesn’t somehow become a good head coach.
