    GO BIG BLUE!!!

Thanks to Coach Stoops and his staff for all their hard work and ability to close the deal with these guys.
Haven’t been this excited about an incoming class in a long time!
Thanks, too, to the players for picking the University of Kentucky. You guys are going to love the Bluegrass!!

Get outta here with that bs. It makes no difference. We want the best players that want and will work hard to make our program a consistent winner–regardless of any kind of superficial factor.

Two 4 stars and a bunch of 3 stars. The big boys teams in the SEC have 3 star players as walk ons.

We have several 5.7 rated 3* that are .1 from being a 5.8 rated 4* very skilled class

I believe Mr.Stoops just topped the best Rivals ranked class of Mr. Strong, did he not?! Strings best class was 29th. That’s impressive.

And, our man Stoops isn’t quite done yet! He could wind up between 20-25.

That looks like the beginning of a defense that can compete in the SEC.

When UK can get ranked in the top 10(BCS not some recruiting hope) I will be impressed until then know your place at the bottom of the SEC and a punchline for the rest of the College football. You guys get this way about every new coach and by midseason back to basketball and the we’re a basketball school stuff starts. Good luck and go print some our recruiting class was better than your recruiting class

#16 – So let me get this straight.. Louisville fans can get excited because your team has finally found success but us Kentucky fans cant? Louisville was no better than Kentucky just 3 years ago until a coaching change took place. So Kentucky cant do what Louisville did even though we both have an unimpressive football history. Not to mention were in the SEC. Better than the Big East if you didn’t already realize.

By listening to most of you haters, you expected Stoops to come in, and in 6 weeks have the # 1 recruiting class in the nation, full of 5-star prospects? Look, it’s better than any class Joker had, Rich had, Guy had, Hal had, or Bill had. That might have to be enough for now.

All of these recruits will give us a chance to win. That’s all we need. Our ’07 team didn’t have better talent than LSU but it was close enough that on any given night we could beat them. I don’t really care if we are 14th in the SEC rankings because the gap is now close enough that we’ve got a shot to win most games…and we will. Joker’s recruiting classes were like being in a knife fight with a toothpick. Time will tell whether we just picked up a Swiss Army knife or a machete…at least we now have a knife!

18 – They post because they’re scared. For a brief time, while they are better than UK, they know that that time may be fleeting fast… Then it’s back to the reality of being little brother.

Its funny though, they win their FIRST BCS game (good job), and now they are a powerhouse on the level of Alabama when it comes to football. Guess they better be glad they don’t have to play the likes of Alabama and LSU… we, however, do….

Our coaches are now going to have to do what it took Brooks 4 years to do, convince them they can win. Our players gave up on Joker last year. If Maxwell Smith stays healthy next year, we will have a winning record.

Does anyone know why UK chooses to list some players as 3* when they are listed in some ratings as 4*? There are 4 major recruiting lists that I am aware of (AP, Scout, ESPN and the Coaches Poll). Location plays a part in each of the ratings. A kid from the South may be rated higher in one poll while someone of equal talent from the Northeast be rated higher in another. My contention is that if a kid is rated 4* in any of the polls, he should carry that rating.
It reminds me of the All-America listings for basketball players. UK has had many players make 3rd team All-America, but Uk does not seem to acknowledge them as such unless they make 1st or 2nd team. A recent article on Thad Jaracz prompted this message. He is but one of many who made 3rd team AA but is not listed as an All-American. Frankly, I think if they make any major publication or rating service, they should be acknowledged. Think of the 100’s of players in basketball, and to make the top 15 is amazing.

Hey 16 maybe we’ll print some 14-11 shirts. You know what that is, right? That’s our record against Louisville. Just because you’re a functional retard I’ll point out that the 14 is our number of wins and the 11 is your number. 14 is more than 11…

    Or maybe a 30-15 shirt. That’s our win/loss ratio in basketball. We’re the 30, you’re the 15.
