I can’t even recall the last time the Cats had an alley oop. I sure miss guys who could finish around the rim.

No way Goodwin had two assists. Must’ve been a career high for him.

If Goodwin only had 3 turnovers I will kiss Matt Jones’s ass and give him a week to draw a crowd. That is a misprint.

Kyle did not have a shot attempt until the last 5 minutes of the second half. Totally unacceptable and Goodwin looked like he just decided it was his turn to shoot. Cal needs to jerk his ass out and treat him like Alex when he tells him to get off the court.
This team operates best when the offense runs through Kyle. Its that simple!! Buy in to team philosophy or sit on the bench.

A missed shot, especially the type Goodwin misses, IS a turnover!

You all sound like a bunch a spoiled bit%$es. We just won a freaking title, and lost 96% of our scoring. we dont have any experience and the fresmen are playing like freshmen. I bet all of you were as skilled as you ever needed to be at whatever you do by 18 right? stfu.

I thought Nerlens had 8 blocks?

Goodwin has taken 202 shots this year and has taken the most shots on the team by more than 50.
43% from the field and 65% from the line and leads the team in turnovers @ 56.
    I give.

Excellent point 9. I was surprised to see only 3 turnovers from him.
UK without Archie would make the NCAA tournament. UK with Archie will be playing at Memorial Coliseum again this postseason.
Cal should pull him and get him used to the bench. That’s where he’ll be in “the Association.” Heck, he’ll be lucky to be in the D-League at this point!

Goodwin is a pig with the ball. There was one time when he drove the baseline and could have lobbed the ball to Nerlens who was wide open and instead he just thru it at the rim. Another time on a fast break he had the ball 2 on 1 and Alex was to his left again wide open and instead he trys to shoot, get fouled and misses the free throw! I thought he was suppose to be a good shooter?? Just those two plays alone cost us 4 points that would have tied up the game. I agree with Ville Cat, bench him!

The only time I got as frustrated with a player as much as I have with Archie was Saul Smith. Saul didn’t have the talent to play at UK, but was there because his dad was the coach. Archie is here on talent, but still plays like he’s in high school. Maybe it’ll click in his head one day. I’m just afraid it’ll be too late…after he’s long busted out of the NBA and he’s playing pick-up ball in some park on a Sunday afternoon.

The reason WIGGINS will end up at FSU is because of the idiots ragging on Archie and Alex right now.

Coach Cal says it is a “players first” program, Archie Goodwin thought he said “player first” program,… me!

Goodwin/Harrow a combined 5 for 24…that says it all! Both are selfish “I am the man” players who are cancer to any team structure. I’ll take Polson over Harrow any day of the week, and Hood over Goodwin just the same. At least both of them are about the TEAM, not about how many G.D. shots I can throw up hoping one will go in…so I can pad my stats. And for Poythress, nice kid, but no way in hell will he make it in the NBA a year from now. He’d get killed by the veterans there, his own teammates, those just trying to hang onto a roster spot. And he’s not alone. Goodwin has no chance in the NBA at this stage. It’s obvious his own teammates don’t like him now, imagine him as an overhyped rookie around players who are fighting their asses off for a roster spot. I could see his own teammates taking him out at the next level. It’s a business for crying out loud. There won’t be some coach or teammate trying to pamper his ass. And for Harrow, as Franklin tried to suggest earlier in the week being drafted…LOL! Don’t get me started!

@20…if he or them can’t take ridicule from a college basketball fan base, how the heck are they going to handle a NBA fan base?!! Last time I checked, they don’t hold back with their opinions either…and that’s saying it lightly.

This team could be the worst team in over 20 years when it’s all said and done. The last Gillespie team holds that award right now, but this team could take that distinction if things don’t change very soon.

    25) really? Check for yourself. That team lost 12 games all year but also beat a ranked team twice. This team could easily end up worse than that.

Ryan frustated me more against Bama than Archie did. Archie is blind on the court, but he did get a few rebounds. Alex can work harder, but it would be hard not to have your eyes glaze over at times when you rarely have the ball passed to you. In a career full of fine moments, last night wasn’t one of Cal’s. Don’t you have to have a come to Jesus moment with your guards BEFORE Wiltjer, your best offensive option, goes a whole half without getting the ball? Maybe he did, but the sidline reporter said she heard Cal telling them to drive the ball more. Huh? What puzzles me more is why Cal doesn’t sit Archie down after he pulls this crap every game. We might be worse with him on the bench for awhile, but he’s earned the right for us too find out. The most incredible thing is our guards were so bad we haven’t talked much about how absolutely horrible the refs were in the second half.

Noels is great, don t get me wrong. Maybe better than Davis on D around the basket

BUT DID NOT SHOOT ONE FREE THROW. Telling me no offinsive threat w ball ( put backs yes )

    Other teams notice this.
