Wow, horrible. Harrow peaked with the Louisville game unfortunately. Does anyone know any NBA scouts? Seriously, I want to hear their explanation as to what they see that makes them think two average to below average college players on a slightly above average college team are NBA level players

Alex, Archie and Harrow NBA… What the F…..! Starting point with zero point and 1 A in 19 min. Alex 5 points Wow! Fl is very good but these guys were not ready to play and it showed. Get well Nerlens.

Wouldn’t it be great if Nerlens did come back for an encore. Poythress is the main reason I can’t wait for this season to end. He has been a total disaster since the beginning and is a total embarassment to the uniform and our school. I have never seen such a highly rated, underachiever in my life. He does appear to be a nice guy but that is the probleml….no GUTS.

Nerlens got jobbed. He had two steals that I can think of off the top of my head.

54% from the free throw line. 6 fast break points and 17 turnovers. thats not going to beat many teams…

    6. Harrow is better than he is playing but he cant play on a leash. Especially not Cal’s leash. Still a low level PG prospect.

Goodwin is only effective when driving from the top of the key. He isnt a great PG but he is most effective in that spot because it makes him pass and gets him the ball at the top of the key.

Poythress is an enigma even to us, but we know his upside is off the charts. Can’t handle the ball well enough to play 3 yet which is really hurting UK. Will be a better pro than college player.

I’m starting to believe those who say Cal doesn’t coach. This team truly lacks in fundamental basketball skills. Technique and half-court execution are obviously their biggest weaknesses, and those are the areas where well-coached teams excel. This team is a poor screening team. They don’t recognize defensive vulnerabilities and exploit them. They don’t reverse the ball when they see the defense playing catch-up off a skip pass. These are things that are instilled by good coaching and have little to do with talent/athleticism. We obviously have that. Sad to see it going undeveloped. Of course it isnt easy when you only have one year.

Well, now we know what UK basketball will look like in March. From National Champs to “home schooled”.

Same story, different day. Goodwin is out of control, Poythress is a woman, and Harrow is a child. They’re all weak as water and need to grow some testicles. With that said, prayers to our boy Nerlens. His health is more important than a basketball game.

    15) God I hope you’re kidding. Cal is the best coach in the nation and it isn’t even close. Look what he did the 3 years before this one. Getting the team two years ago to the final four was nothing short of a miracle and winning a national championship last year with all those freshmen. Not only that but watching each and every player getting better and better as the years went along. He didn’t forget how to coach overnight, these players are just not as good as we thought they would be. It would be like having to start and play Stacey Poole for 34 minutes a game with no one to sub in for him. That is what is going on right now, we have 2 Poole like players, Goodwin and Poythress that we are forced to play because we lost everyone from last year and have no one else. And that is the only reason they are playing.
