In non-UK news, Jimmer Fredette and the four guys who wear jerseys like his received five first place votes in the AP.

Honestly, there’s not a single team in the nation that the Cats wouldn’t be favored against at home. And at neutral courts, I’m confident we’ll play better than on the road. I’m excited about March. I’ve got a good feeling about it

They may let Auburn in as an at large just so they can make Duke’s region weak enough…

Is anyone actually taking this BYU balogna seriously???

I got money that says that 12 teams out of the Big East get in, but none make it to the final four.

10)Have you watched them play? I hate to give to much credit to white dudes, but Jimmer is the real deal!

11 – agree. Big East is tough with a bunch of good teams, but none are elite. Pitt cannot shoot and always bow out early in the tourney.

I watched the BYU-SDSU game and came away very surprised. Both teams are better than Duke who I also watched Sat night. BYU is certainly not a “sexy” pick but they will make my Final Four bracket prediction. A few more teams from their conf oughta be considered rather than all this Big East hype.

    16. They must have tuned in to all of our road games this yr (minus Louisville).

I look at that list and truly believe that UK is capable of beating any team ahead of us. I’ve watched some Big 10 and Big East games and they looked pitiful. Big East will get 11 teams in and have 3/4ths gone the first day. Same with the Big 10. BYU and SDSU are good teams but truthfully who have they played that had true talent? I see BYU and SDSU out in the 2nd round.

Anybody else see the stat board that compared BYU with Cal’s Memphis class that went to the national championship game? Basically they had virtually the same SOS, winning percentage, win/loss record, road wins, and wins vs top 25 teams. An eye-opening comparison for me and had one stat (can’t remember which one) that made BYU appear to be even better than Memphis. Until I saw that comparison, I didn’t think BYU really stood a chance at reaching the FF.

Jimmer is better than any player we’ve faced this yr including Kemba Walker.

bubba yes we did, but remember they were without Buckles who is averaging 40 points a game and 27 rebounds, so in their eyes there’s no way we could beat them. He’s also out again with another injury.

Interesting how media still believes Big East is so powerful. I’ll take BYU and SDSU over all the BE teams for a final four. If you watched Texas last night then you know there is really no No. 1 just lots of equal teams this year. SEC has a chance in NCAAs to demonstrate that there really is parity and the league isn’t actually as bad as the media paints it!
