Kentucky officially offers Jabari Parker

jparker

If you’ve been paying attention, you know that Cal took some time out earlier this week to watch Chicago Simeon standout Jabari Parker, considered by many people to be the top prospect of the junior class. On the heels of that visit to Chicago, word came out today that Kentucky has officially offered a scholarship to Parker, according to Chicago Hoops. The Windy City has been kind to Cal when it comes to big-time recruits, most recently with Anthony Davis and in the past with Derrick Rose, who was a product of the same Simeon High School that Parker attends. Parker would certainly make a nice addition to that lineage, and with a UK offer now apparently in hand he’s got everything he needs to make it happen. Now, watch him do work:

Why did Goodwin say it was a “business” decision? Does he ride the short bus? You are not supposed to admit you are receiving extra benefits.

This kid is over-rated, Cal can have him. Im more interested in players that want to be college students and want to stay 4 or 5 years. “Louisville, first… or whatever”
